I agree with this full heartedly. My roleplay characters become parts of myself, my own children who have snarky attitudes, who grow, and develop. I love everyone of them, and when they pass away, I know they will never fully be gone. 

So many feelings.  My characters are my babies and I will always love them, even if they choose to do stupid shit.

this isn’t just for artists. writers feel the same way. i love the characters in each story i write, whether they’re good or evil, because they all have a life. it may be a life that isn’t real, but to me each of them are real. just to me.

((This is my connection with all my ocs, i grew so attached to them that it saddens me that i can do anything with them anymore. I used a bunch of them that were a large family in an rp with a friend of mine, we rp’d with this bunch for close to 2 years and i actually cried when that came to an end. My friend told me she nearly cried to. These ocs were our babies, we spent our days in study hall coming up with them, plotting, rping on pieces of paper passing them back and forth in class ( thank god teaches never caught us because that would be awkward since it was smut alot of the time). We put them through so much drama that whenever they cried or got hurt we did to. I didn’t want them to die so i’ll eventually use them as characters in a future novel series, i will not let my babies be forgotten.))
