Amazon SEEMS to be rolling out a change to force people outside the US to use a regional Amazon site closer to them instead of .com to buy ebooks, but it also seems to be going⌠very⌠badly, and no one customer-facing at Amazon seems to be aware of the problem or any solution to it other than âchange your address to a US address to buy ebooksâ which seems like an odd thing for Amazon itself to tell customers to do if theyâre trying to get non-US customers to use the non-US sites.
Anyway, Iâm hoping that the books2read redirect successfully guides people to their nearest Amazon site, or at least makes it fairly easy for everyone to navigate to their nearest Amazon site so I donât have to paste in 11 individual links when I, say, have a new book available for pre-order Very Soon Now.
