Did Psiioniic have any trouble readjusting to being free again after he died, since it had been such a very long time? And if so, how did you guys help him?
It started not long after we found him.
I remember Beloved being so happy to s33 him again. The joy was radiating off of him. But he found it strange it wasn’t recipurrocated by Catpurr…

♋: “It took so long to find you… What happened to you? Are you all right? You look troubled.”
♊: ”Invalid syntax. Commands are unrecognized by this unit. Input desired galaxial coordinates.”
♊: “Input desired galaxial coordinates.”
♋: “Captor. Look. It’s me. Don’t you recognize me? Vantas? …’Dumbass?’…’Insufferable Asshole?’…That’s me!”
♊: “Input desired galaxial coordinates.”
♋: “No! I’m not giving you fucking coordinates!”
♊: “Unit ready for query.”
♋: “Captor, I don’t understand. Why are you doing this? What the fuck happened to you?”
♊: “Invalid syntax. Rephrase command.”
♋: “Rephr—… Fuck!… Wh- What is your current status?”
♊: “This Helmsman unit is currently offline. Unable to communicate with mainframe of Battleship Condescension. Helmsman unit has suffered irreparable damage. It is this unit’s suggestion that the unit be maintenanced or replaced immediately.”
♋: “Fuck… so that’s what she did to you. Turned you into her slave.”
♌: “So… they put him in a ship?”
♍: “It would seem so. You remember what he told us. Ochrebloods are ‘repurposed’ for use. I had a terrible feeling when they dragged him away. I knew they wouldn’t execute someone so useful.”
♌: “They… destroyed him. Didn’t they?”
♋: “Captor. C’mon man. It’s me. You know me. Come on, give me an answer! Don’t you know me anymore?!”
♊: “You are not authorized to command this unit. Unit will shut down.”
It took sw33ps fur us to finally break through to Catpurr. They really had damaged him beyond repair. I don’t think he realized he was dead for a while. Beloved tried so hard to get through to him evfury day. He even learned how to “command” Catpurr. I think that broke my Beloved’s heart the most. His best furiend in the whole world had b33n turned into nothing but a machine… and he had to give him commands just to communicate with him. It was a hard time fur all of us.
Catpurr did break through eventually. It took a long while but soon he started to show signs of the old grumpy troll that we loved so dearly. But now and then… he looks as cold and emotionless as he did when we furst found him. We try to k33p furrom asking him about his past in an effurt to leave it behind. He’s not that troll anymore. None of us are those people we were befur. None of us have to suffur anymore.
All I would like fur Catpurr is fur him to f33l safe again; to know that he’ll nevfur f33l pain like he did evfur again. Beloved will s33 to it. So will Mother Maryam and I. We really do love him so much.
