I admire photographers that still you film. What film formats and cameras do you use currently?
It depends on the concept of the shoot.. I love medium format and have a mamiya 7 and an RZ67 that I’ll use interchangeably, depending if I’m shooting something more portrait, or if I need something more portable. For 35mm I use a Nikon F100 if I need speed and quick focusing, but if time isn’t a factor I use an F2, mostly because I love the way that classic glass looks. For a more documentary look I’ll use a yashica T4 (which is just an awesome little camera) and sometimes in studio I’ll use a 4x5 (which can be quite cumbersome but you can’t beat that large format depth).
What's your ratio when shooting between color negative and black & white film during shoots? Why?
Again, it depends on the concept and what I have in mind for the look of the image. B&W is much easier, since I can process it at home and it’s pretty quick to scan, and besides I love the way black and white looks. So for ease and also aesthetic I probably tend to lean more towards that
When a photographer ask you emote sadness for an example, what would your process be to achieve this mood?
well first, i ask the photographer to look away, and then i go into my own head, and pull things out i dont normally want to think about, and if im lucky well more so the photographer i will start crying. but it depends on the day. one time i just started crying at a shoot in nyc out of no where. my emotions can be all over the place.
As a photographer, what would consider to be your strengths and weaknesses?
haha, sounds like an HR person asking
Strengths: honest motives
Weaknesses: rushed and not fully focused on getting each picture right

What's your kinks?
I enjoy being tied up. ^.^ I also have a thing for dirty talk, spanking and hair pulling :)
As a model, what types of shoots would you like to do more of?
Stuff like this and this and this. My passion is more for BTS things lately (artistic direction, booking, SEO work, editorial work), so I’m not quite 100% on where my goals/interests are in modeling. One day I’m ready to shoot some fairly hardcore erotica, the next day I only want to do moody b&w’s, the next day it’s crazy couture and john waters film remakes. I guess I just want to have fun. :P
What projects/photographs are you currently working on?
Always working on new stuff. Looking to start releasing some of my book projects soon. Trying to wrap up editing/shooting for Blood Lust so that I can release that this year hopefully. Still working on Smoke Signals. A few other projects going on as well.
Do you have any insecurities?
Yep. Physically, my stomach & (occasionally) my height.
What's your next photography goal you have set for yourself?
Thank you for the question. Right now I am working on my first solo book hopefully to be released later this year. Currently I am going through a mental artist block and probably not shooting as much as I usually do or even want to and I’m focusing more on exhibiting my work and networking with curators. I want to raise the bar in other areas and help aspiring artists in the mean time. I feel very blessed to be where I am right now and having the opportunity to work with some of the most amazing models and photographers worldwide throughout the years.

Can you picture yourself no longer traveling? Why?
Probably not :) I’ve slowed down on travel this summer since I’ve been traveling pretty much NON STOP since mid-2010… It’s frustrated me to no end and I can’t wait to get back on it. I’m going full-blown “professionally homeless” in 2014 so I’m sure that will be an incredibly fulfilling phase of my life. No matter what I want to do in the long term I’m sure it will incorporate some type of travel.
Your signature glow, blur look, is it done in post or by mixing strobes & hot lights?
it’s done in-camera - most of the time, like you say, with a mix of strobes and ambient light. i say “most of the time” because there isn’t always strobe. i have experimented with doing it in post, though. too much work ha.
How often are you on the road vs at home?
The road is my home
500 posts!
When a photographer approaches you with interesting fetish ideas like vomiting, peeing, etc. What's your thought process?
1. Am I comfortable with doing what their asking me to do?
2. Am I comfortable doing it in front of a photographer who, in most cases, I have never met before?
3. Am I comfortable with it being posted online where it will be available for viewing by strangers and loved ones alike?
4. What is the quality of that particular photographers work?
Aeric Meredith-Goujon (the photographer of the puking photo series that I did) has quite the artistic eye, and I was familiar with his work. I knew that the end result would be something very beautiful. If someone else would have asked me, it may have been a different story, and I might have declined.

What your favorite part about modeling?
Creating. Making up and becoming characters. Exploring different versions of myself. There are lots of aspects for me to like about modeling considering I’ve made this my full time job because I enjoyed it so much.
What photo shoot challenged you the most so far? Why?
Screaming. Someone wanted me to scream during a shoot and I couldn’t do it. I have a really hard time being vocal. I feel like I can express without being vocal but I know it would help the emotion a lot more. I wish I could get better at just letting go and divulge myself into my emotions.
