So Hypnotic

"What, now I have style. Sheeeeit, I am a trend setter." He shook his head at himself, knowing that she was all the hype compared to him. "It comes from experience I can guarantee you that. I want to be so damn good that even when I pass on i’m immortal in this music world." Anything was worth seeing that smile, he could never forget it. "You always know how to work someones weak spot." He chuckled as he arose to his feet. Following behind her he slipped his phone into his back pocket as they left his office.

"Yeah, of course you are, let's just go with that." Desi teased, biting back a laugh. "You're already immortal in this business. People would give their right arm to be able to work with you. Your music is the soundtrack to so many lives." Smiling, she looped her arm around his. "It's a talent of mine. How do you think I was able to get you?" Waving goodbye to his assistant, Desi guided Rome towards the elevator walking onto it shortly after it when the doors opened. 

"I should have known better, fashion killer over there." One finger rested on his chin, as he let out a chuckle. Watching her with every step. "See she had it all already, I just showed her how to utilize it. Give someone options and it’s amazing what they’ll run and do with it." Looking over at his desk clock, his glance feel back onto her. "A day out with you—" He murmured while reach for her hand. "Nothing sounds better than that right now. Even a destination.—Let me tell Angela to cancel the rest of my plans. Be prepared for her side eye." She was more than right, between their busy schedules, two two had easily turned into ships passing in the night. 

"Well someone has to have the style in this relationship." She teased with a laugh. "I swear you're like the Yoda of the music industry with the way you help find their force and all that shit." A broad grin some came over her face when Rome accepted her offer to play hookey for the remainder of the day."I can handle the side-eye, I'll just be sure to make sure some cupcakes get delivered for her tomorrow and she'll be fine." Still holding onto his hand, Desi tugged him onto his feet. 

"You’ve flown here just for some shoes once, if anything you love me and that’s showing it." He smirked only teasing. "That’s good, that’s good. I’ve heard she had some heat behind her so it’s good to know it wasn’t all hype. Cass has never disappointed, this year will be another good one. I should have know, what’s really good Des."

"Check yourself, Rome, they weren't just any shoes, they were Giuseppe Zanotti's." She playfully scoffed, making her way over to his desk and taking a seat on the edge of it. "Cass learned everything from you, so I'm sure she's in goo hands. Don't say it like that, I came here for a good reason. I was wondering if I could get you out of this office and we could spend the day together. It's a shame that the only time that I see you is in a meeting or when we're asleep."

"You know the thing about running the whole game, your cell number becomes way to available to those who shouldn’t have it. I apologize for changing my number and not giving it to you, the opening of this other studio is really eating up all of my time. You and I both know you ain’t never been considered one of the little people. How’s that new artist of yours?"

"I really want to be mad at you over the fact that I was the in this city to get your number, but you're just so adorable when you're all sleepy. The new artist is good, I got her in the studio with Cass and from the sound of things, there may be a few hits in the midst. But I didn't come in here to talk business,Rome."
