Our Next Guest for DerpyCon 2026 is Jeff Brennan!

Jeff Brennan is a veteran comic book artist, storyboard artist, and creator whose work has spanned comics, animation, and television for decades. Best known as the writer and artist behind Cyber Girl L.E.E.T.A., Jeff has contributed to numerous iconic projects across pop culture.

His animation credits include storyboard and design work for acclaimed series such as Courage the Cowardly Dog, Dragon Tales, Extreme Ghostbusters, and Jumanji. He has also worked on layout design for Beavis and Butt-Head Do America and contributed set art to The Big Bang Theory.

In the comic book industry, Jeff has collaborated with major publishers including DC Comics, Bongo Comics, Heavy Metal Magazine, and Heroic Comics. His comic credits include inking on Deathstroke the Terminator and penciling for Bart Simpson Comics.

Manly Battleships® is the original professional panel group, a circle of fun-loving performers that have built a programming powerhouse on the convention circuit. Veteran panelists combine their skills with a circle of long time con-goers, otaku, and deviants to create panels and events for your enjoyment. A lot of a lot, and a little of everything!  The order of battle includes lectures, gameshows, and over-the-top entertainment panels!  No matter your pleasure, there’s a Manly Battleships® event that’s right for you!

Present a Pop Culture-related panel, whether that be about a specific topic, a fun trivia game, or an interactive panel for the audience. This also includes Dance panels!

Workshop-wise, you can have the audience do a craft or teach them a new skill! Be creative with your ideas!

Our Next Guest for DerpyCon 2026 is Richard Maurizio!

Richard Maurizio is known for his work on beloved cartoons such as Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, and Space Jam, as well as for his contributions to Tom & Jerry and Underdog comics. His career spans over 40 years in the comic book industry and he has contributed to some of the most iconic and beloved cartoons of our time.

A veteran artist, writer and ComicCon regular, Richard Maurizio has contributed artwork to some of the most iconic and beloved cartoons of our time. With an impressive resume that includes Warner Bros., Turner Entertainment, Universal Studios, Sony Signatures, and Archie Comics, Richard has created licensed artwork for properties including Looney Tunes, Animaniacs, Space Jam, Batman: The Animated Series, The Munsters, Underdog, The Real Ghostbusters, and Mister Magoo’s Christmas Carol. In addition to co-producing a Tom & Jerry comic strip for several years, Richard co-produced the book Munster Memories with Butch Patrick.

His most recent work is the revival of Atomic Mouse, variant covers of The Phantom, Flash Gordon, and Dick Tracy plus The children’s book Halloween Pranksta.
