I think if Saiki accidentally used his Medusa gaze on Teruhashi, she wouldn't just turn into plain old boring stone. NOPE, she'd definitely be a marble statue. Since his luck is so shitty, people see it, and they're like, "Well, OBVIOUSLY, Teruhashi's beauty cannot be captured in any medium, but oh wow, this is REALLY close. Saiki, you're pretty good at this :D"
People are trying to buy the statue from him. Despite his protests, an all out BIDDING WAR has started. Imu, Saiko, and Makoto are duking it out. The Kokomins, at some point, attempt to break into his house to STEAL it, but that place is armed to the brim thanks to Kusuke and Warp the robot cat
Meanwhile, Saiki has teleported Teruhashi and himself to a remote island. He had to make sure they weren't being tracked via satellite. He COULD just wait for the petrification to be over, but saying that he destroyed a statue of Teruhashi would just make him a target for the Kokomins and a social pariah. Instead, with some trial and error due to super strength, he makes a duplicate statue with real marble. After Teruhashi turns back to normal, Saiki gifts the statue to her instead
While the actual statue has been dealt with, the fame from the incident leads people to asking, "How the hell did the Saiki parents raise three prodigies?"
Kusuke - Went to Cambridge at 14, and is a renowned genius
Kusuo - Artistically gifted to the point where he could portray Teruhashi Kokomi's beauty in an extremely difficult medium
Kuriko - Sports prodigy studying in Paraguay just because she can
Meanwhile:
Kuniharu - Only skill is shoe-licking
Kurumi - Extremely gullible, kinda air-headed
I bet everyone would think the kids are so smart because they took all their parents braincells and common sense (kinda) 😭😭😭
