Tuesday. Another day to sleep in. Got up around 10 and got my haircut. Took a few inches off the top and got it faded in the side. I'm actually liking this cut compared to the other and I'm hoping the hair where it was parted can grow into the top part. Goodbye undercut lol. Went to grab some food with doink. We were going to go to Huynh's for some BBH but they were close for what I assume was construction. Ended up going to a bbq place. It was pretty good and it was my first time actually having true BBQ. On that note I don't really have anything else to compare it to lol. Briskets were good and some parts were just breaking apart and the ribs were pretty tender. Came home and napped a bit and ft with Nehali for a little. Caught up with life and what was going on with each other the last few months. Went out to play ball afterwards. Played pretty bad. Missed four easy catches that would of been tds but it was really hard to judge it in the dark. Also got my new iPhone in the mail. Ft with Eric for a little and was kinda dozing in and out and ended up falling asleep while updating the phone. Wednesday. Didn't have to get up to go help at the shop so I pretty munched stayed home all day. Ran some errands and bought some things for my phone. Napped pretty much all day probably just because I know I'm not gonna sleep as much the next few weeks. Nothing too exciting today. Grand opening is tomorrow so I'm expecting a big crowd.

Forgot to do the other day. First hiccup of the year lol. Sunday was probably the best day we had. Rice was cranking out at a good pace as well as the fish being done and ready for the day. Had to be on rice duty because we had plenty of help up front. It was a more steady busy the whole day. Had really no issues that day besides running out of our original bowls we wanted to use. This only came late in the day so it wasn’t bad but again the customers didn’t mind they just wanted to try the food. Went out after we closed and cleaned up. Drank a little and went home to get a good night sleep after getting about five hours a night. Monday was more relaxing. Woke up feeling good after sleeping a good 8 hours. Went to eat some pho and went out to get a phone. My cousin was already going there to get an Apple Watch and asked me if i wanted one. I said no because I'm cool with just getting a newer phone because it is getting slower. He then said that he will get me one and so we ordered the the watch for him and got me the phone. I ended up giving him like 200 for it but we got a deal off everything because he knew the guy that helped us at Apple. Went to the shop and went over everything and had a meeting for the game plan for grand opening. Had to run some errands with jim as well and that took most the day because of driving. Came home to finally relax a little and then got locked out of the house. Afterwards I did some laundry and laying down.

Looks like it happened again. Woke up around 5 after going to bed at 1. Another long day at work but it’s not bad and I don’t mind it. It keeps me busy and I feel like I’m being more open now with this opportunity that my cousin is giving me. Prepped in the morning and diced up a bunch of fish. Got a good rush for lunch and stayed pretty busy for a few hours. There was one slow period around 4-5 but then it picked up. Love being busy and seeing the success that we have been getting. Each day we’ve been selling more and pumping out more fish as well as getting most of the prep done way quicker. Had a little more help today so tips were a little less but shoot it wasn’t bad either. After getting home around midnight I’m just trying to catch up on messages and social media. Been so mia from everything lol. Ext: Saturday was a little more prepared than the last few days. Prepped early in the day and everything was running pretty smooth. I was floating around a lot that day and helping where I could. It was pretty steady and then we got hit for a good two-three hours during lunch. Had to step into the line to crank out the bowls at a higher pace than what the other employee was doing. Got that done pretty quickly and then it died down for a few hours. It picked up close to dinner time and shit went pretty crazy. Had a issue with rice so we were low on that and had some customers wait but everyone was pretty cool about it. Just one of the things we plan on fixing during grand opening. All in all did good for the day and everyone seemed happy. Made some decent tips as well.

Again, woke up in the middle of night and fell back to sleep. Don't know what's up with it. Literally only sleeping for 4 hours and then having to wake up again an hour or so later. Got to the shop pretty early around 8:30 and did a lot of prep work. Most of the things were done from the day before because we're getting used to what needs to be done and all. Work went by pretty face. Had a good crowd during lunch and made around 53 in tips. Had somewhat of a steady period during the off peak hours that restaurants have. Picked back up around 6 and was slammed until 8. Had some more help today so prep tomorrow should be much so I get to sleep in some more lol. Made another 55 at night so that brings it to around 108? In tips for the whole day on top of wages. Nbd 😏😁

Woke up again in the middle of the night around the same time as the other nights. Fell back asleep and didn't wake up to my alarm even though it said I was at snooze. Good thing my cousin woke up too because he missed it as well. Got up around 7:45 and got ready to start the day. Prepped until opening and then was pretty steady throughout the days selling poke. Had a period of time where we were pretty slammed and almost ran out of rice and fish but we had some extra and had some time to cut and prepare the rice. Pretty fun day today as well as a long day. Stayed after until 1am. So in total I've been up for about 16 hours and worked about 14 or so lol.

Woke up really early and didn't sleep well again. Showered and had to get going pretty quickly. Went to the shop and did some prep work for a few hours and got ready to open. Got steadily busy from 11-1:30/2:30. Shit went by pretty quick. Had a slow period for an hour. We sold out of salmon first around 4 and by 6:30 everything was gone. Had some good people come in to check out the place and to try it out. So far everyone loved the places and the poke. It's kinda good that we sold out but also shows we weren't that prepared for that many people. Technically we're not totally open open but still doing somewhat of an soft opening. Made some decent tip as well walking away with 70 dollars on top of wages. Texted a friend back home and they were having some issues with their significant other for some stupid reason. People just need to trust each other and move on. No need to be instigating shit that isn't suppose to be fought over.

Woke up pretty early and was mad tired from the previous night. Couldn't fall asleep for some reason. Went to bed early and slept for an hour and stayed awake until 4. Helped out at the shop today. Got a lot of things done and we're opening tomorrow. Excited for this day to come. Didn't eat much all day. Later when we finished up we went to eat some beef noodle soup and that shit was bomb as fuck. I think it's my next favorite noodle dishes after pho, bbh, and ramen.

Woke up feeling 100% better compared to the day before. Made some breakfast from the leftovers I had. Later on went to get some pho which was what I needed lol. Also got some coffee. Did some laundry and hung up some cloths. Helped my cousin Jenny move some things to the car for her to take back home and chilled for a couple hours. We went to a rockets game for a really cheap price of 4 dollars. Can't beat the price and the seats weren't that bad either. Witness James harden dropping a triple double. Didn't think he would do it because he started really slow in the first half and was barely close going into the fourth quarter. John wall looks super quick on the court and Bradley beal's shot is just so smooth. Seemed like he couldn't miss either. Rockets ended up coming back to win the game. Came home and took down the Christmas tree. Hopefully I can catch another game soon for the same price later this season.

Start of the new year hungover as fuck. Threw up in the morning and then went back to sleep. Had to pick up my car and I really couldn't drive so I cashed out in my car for a few hours. Had to pick up flags from jim to play football. Asked one of the guys in the group to pick them up from me because I couldn't move haha. Slept for another few hours. By then I was like 50% alive. Didn't eat my first meal until 7-8. Had some crawfish and crabs and had some fresh squeezed oj. I think the oj gave me life haha. It was really what I needed. Went to get some toiletries for the house too. Went home afterwards and cashed out.

New Year's Eve. Didn't think much was going to happen so went on throughout the day doing the same thing as the last days. Ended up going out around 10-11. Got super messed up and don't even remember how I got back home. Ran into Clint capela at the bar so that was pretty cool. Drank too much and I think for sure this is the last time for a while.

Woke up early and had to run some errands with my cousin for the shop. Went to a couple places and got some chips and drinks to prep for opening. Tested out some rice for a little and then went home after a few hours there. Came home and ate leftovers and took a nap. Woke up and followed the Michigan game against fsu. Sounded like it was pretty good near the end. First half we were getting dominated. They had a good chance to win but fsu ended up winning the game. Finished captain America civil war. It was pretty good. Finally finished it though because the previous times I've tried to watch it I've fallen asleep. Watched the Rhonda Rousey Amanda Nunez fight. She got rocked hard as fuck. Think she's done fighting for awhile or even having her career done. Ended the night playing some league.

friday through thursday. should do these on a daily basis but i keep forgetting and i guess its been about two weeks. nothing too exciting the first week. played some ball and finally watched stranger things. it was good and for the most part pretty predictable after a few episodes. overall it was good but not as good as others hyped it up to be. watched rogue one as well. that was pretty good. it was different compared to the star wars series but i get it because it really isnt star wars but just a story about a moment when and how the got the death star plans. had the poke event for friends and family so that was fun. had actual hands on and training on how a day would be like. keep mostly busy throughout the event. had a little party later that night and we ended up going out as well. didnt get home unitl mad late and was suppose to ball in the morning but was too fucked up to do anything. thought i lost some money we had earned from tips and was freaking out but it was just in my car. couple days goes by and same thing as the other previous days like applying and checking emails. the whole christmas weekend was pretty fun. played ball on christmas eve and played pretty poorly but i was fine with it because the previous times we played we were winning every game. went out for my cousins bday and that was pretty lit. went out on christmas day as well. overall that whole weekend was just partying. watched the sense8 christmas special and other than that nothing much for the other days. hopefully i do a daily one starting this new years. its kinda nice jotting down what happen on a certain day or even during the periods where i get too lazy to write stuff on here. maybe ill go back and read what happened to me throughout this year and reminiscence on the times i had this year. looking forward to what 2017 brings me. 

wednesday-thursday. not much happened. through those days i got a call from a potential employer. they seemed very nice and i had to do a video interview for them but was busy at the time so i put it off til later. was suppose to go to a rockets-lakers game but anthony had to go to a christmas party with his colleague. ended helping out at the shop because they had an event to cater at. it was a bao event where many restaurants and chefs around the area made their own take on the traditional bao. one of their close friend was there and it was hosted by pats cousins organization. we prepped earlier in the day for it and at the end of the day, their friend ended up winning the event. we had a good turnout in our area too. gave out all of our samples and had a lot of people enjoying our food.  friday was my birthday. didnt do much but relax and went out to eat with my younger cousins at Mongolian hotpot. the weekend wasnt much. hung out mostly and sunday we had a football game as well as some training because the shop is gonna be opening soon. played some league throughout the days. one day we played with jake and that was pretty fun playing aram. usually i dont like playing aram. applied to a couple more places here and there. checked emails. got another call from a recruiter that called me last month and informed me about being on the shortlist of potential candidates to be hired for a position. hopefully i get another call for an interview because it seems like a good spot to start my career.  

saturday-tuesday. not really much happened throughout the day. saturday night we went out. didnt really do much earlier that day besides getting somewhat back into maplestory. watched some shows as well. mercy was alright that night. kinda slow. but overall nice to get some drinks in lol. sunday. woke up a little hungover but it was weird since i didnt drink much. watched some of the lions game and then went to watch some other shows/movies. monday. applied to some places and checked emails to see if theres any updates. played some more games, watched shows and started watching the jungle book. fell asleep 30mins into it and didnt finish because i was too tired. i know what happen because of the original but i feel like this will be a little different. tuesday. did the same as monday. watched the flash. finished up the jungle book. they kinda changed how it ended and i kind of dont remember some of the things happening in the newer version compared to the old one so it was a little different.

thursday. first day of december and it really doesnt feel like it to be honest. i was thinking about that the other day while driving and listening to music. no snow and the weather here doesnt make it feel like winter is coming. woke up pretty early today and got dim sum with my cousins. it was alright today. some of the stuff we got were just falling apart. i think there were older one or even from the day before. came home and downloaded the new ms lol. still had some issues with the server. played for a little and they maintenance for hours on end and even typing this out at 1 in the morning its still getting worked on. so much for a big patch haha. spent the day watching a lot of videos and just relaxing listening to music. still in a state of confusion on where life is taking me. kinda weird that my birthday is coming up and im not so excited about it and not so low about it either. feel like im in a weird spot in my life and it isnt what i pictured it to be a couple years back when i imagined what i’d be doing by the time ill be 25.  just for the last few months i had a bunch of time on my hand and it just got me thinking a lot on what i want out of life and just everything. 

Wednesday. Woke up pretty early today and filled out some more applications. Did that for a few hours and then hung around the house most of the day. Was thinking about getting a cut but the lady wasn't there to cut my hair so I left to get groceries. Was in the mood to cook and pasta was the first thing that came to mind. Tried out something new and made some pasta out of cream of mushroom and chicken broth. Braised some chicken in it and cooked the penne in it as well. Thought it was going to be more saucy but it kinda absorbed it all. Turned out pretty decent. I think if I had some Parmesan and some sauce it would of been way better. Filled out a form to renew my license. Debating on playing the new ms because of fifth job. Like always, ms has a bunch of problems and had issues with the game so more maintenance had to be done. Played some league. Duo'd with ouch. I think we won 2 and lost 1 or something. Afterwards, I played some solo and won like 3 and lose 1. Now just watched some YouTube to end the night
