I'm in your jeans

The dream then transitioned to my family being at my grandpa's and discussing this pond he has (he does not have a pond). But instead of being normal, we all go in and it's very deep but as long as we take shallow "breaths," aka don't breathe water directly into our lungs, we can actually "breathe" underwater without needing to surface for air. It feels pretty weird but was nice once you got used to it. Then, we started showing off that we could light things on fire under the water and one person showed that they could take a puff of a joint and successfully smoke it (I think the water was fake at this point). There were some fish around and for some reason we had bought 3 baby turtles that stayed put in a plastic box we had at the bottom of the pond. The fish was one of those with very large teeth and towards the very end was trying to eat a pigeon that was floating on the water. Other animals, like our dog, followed normal water logic and couldn't breathe underwater.

I had to write these down because it's pretty strange for me to dream in general, but especially in such detail with multiple major scene changes like this. Usually, if I remember a dream, they're based around the same character(s)/people, activity, or theme. For example, this week I have been having a reoccurring dream of living in a house with these people (the yuri drawing is actually based off of this) and doing activities with them. But each thing we'd do is a short flash of a dream with very limited details that will likely play over again as I try to remember more about the scene or what is going on (I do know these dreams are manifestations of me getting a position and having a great time come the following few years. Even if I never meet these people or live in a house I need to be accepted for this). But even having a consistent reoccurring dream with the same character(s)/set is very rare for me and has only happened max 2-3 times before. Luckily they're all something I do want to dream about, and I was actually hoping I'd fall back into the one I've been having.

The other thing that really made this dream stand out is that they all felt very long, especially when my other dream flashes usually seem to go by very quick to when I wake up. Sometimes I can extend them by staying asleep when I know I need to wake up, but at that point they usually start to fall apart and I'm forced to wake up anyways. This one I didn't try to extend, just woke up because they were strange.

I also say the dreams were all semi-related because I feel like there was something tying them all together, like a wooden box of supplies or something like that, but I can't quiet put my finger on it. It feels like the kind of object you're looking for when figuring out you're in a dream in the first place and then you need to grab it to finally break out.
