So important! I work in mental health and in my experience this is the biggest issue that people with mental disorders face. Things like depression and anxiety are just as physical as any medical issue, they’re just harder to see. We have to fight the stigma and educate people about this shit.

It’s not only family and friends’ love that can save us. When they accept us for who we are, it’s important but it’s not enough. You have to love yourself, the good and the bad parts. The only way to be in control of yourself is to embrace your whole being.
