Sometimes i remind myself i need to write something, even if its purely from isolation. Writing allows you to actively reflect on your experience of what you are feeling. From consuming so much content i realise i am just a product of what i consume. When you are watching so much you have the illusion you are thinking critically and forming your own opinion. Thats not the case and it really does require you to take a step back, sit by yourself and allow yourself to produce your own thoughts.
Many of us wake up starting the day stimulated, going through the day stimulated. You might even be such a person without conciously realising it. Its shown in small behaviors throughout the day, taking the cup of coffee, when you finish it taking delicious food you didnt plan to be eating. impulsively during work grab those headphones for that dopamine hit through music because your day is so miserable. I am not saying Music is bad but these habits add up hiding a underlying truth about your life. The irony is that these are all accepted habits in todays life. All this created artificial dopamine through technology is not how the ancient of humanity is wired, still we have adapted to it. Take a step back and reflect on yourself.
"today is history, and you are part of it"
