Continuing my KNY headcanons for Muzan Kibutsuji
Despite the other demons not needing sleep, Muzan needs it to replenish his energy (much like nezuko does). He can hold it off by consuming blood, but he will need to sleep at some point. He usually takes small naps to suffice, but if he extends energy for long periods of time he has no choice.
After his fight with Yoriichi, Muzan slept for nearly 3 decades. When he woke up, his he first thing he told Kokushibo was “Chestnuts”.
Douma is actually stronger than Kokushibo, making him about as strong (if not stronger) than Muzan. He just doesn’t care to rise any higher. Thats why he is able to ragebait and mess with Muzan so much without dying.
Muzan’s favorite season is the snow, and his favorite weather is rain. It’s because the clouds shield the sun, making him able to walk out during the “day”. But they have to be dark clouds/snow storms. Will often act childish (so long as no one is around) and make snow angels and snowmen.
Human food is hard for demons to eat (think lactose intolerant but 10X worse) but it varies depending on their level. Lower demons can’t eat at all, I’d ranks can take a few bites, and upper ranks can stand it for long periods.!Muzan is determined to enjoy his favorite foods, but if he overindulges he throws up.
Hates a dirty environment (leftover anxiety from being sick) so will instinctively clean wherever he is. Has cleaned his office many times because of Douma misplacing things.
Enjoys a good joke/pun, but refuses to laugh in front of others. Had one demon slayer, years after Yoriichi, who actually able to land a hit because he told a pun so funny it distracted Muzan by making him laugh.
Has learned many Instruments over the years. Has also learned to sing to them as well, but refuses to do so. Kokushibo is the only one to have heard him sing.
Likes to play games (like Mari ball kick/vollyball) with Kokushibo and, occasionally, Douma, because he was always too sickly as a kid to do so, and they are the only ones able to keep up with his speed. They dare not speak of it
