blue hair, black hair, blue eyes, brown eyes

entrapped within a tangled web of tight curls and gentle hands

soothing voices, one soft, one sharp

occupying my mind in opposing hemispheres

a hellish child like me

brain fog. it’s like looking for a picture inside of tv static. trying to listen to a conversation you aren’t even sure is really happening, but still picking up every 3rd or 4th word, piecing together a jigsaw puzzle that has no answer, that is by design not solvable.

it’s the loss of your surroundings, every place, person and thing seeming more like a distant mirage, while you tread your way through muddy waters and towards vague signs of life, hoping to find your way back to what’s directly in front of you.

a constant haze, always swelling in the depths of your mind, a low hum that lingers. its mere presence takes a hold of all of your thoughts, and in their place creates deafening, loud, silence.

you lose touch with reality. your thoughts slip away from you, just barely out of reach, drifting into the distance, like fog in the morning wind.
