          “ But do you really know me? ” She grins, leaning forward and tapping her shoes on the carpet playfully, dark hues landing on a clearly distraught family in the far corner of the lobby, “ makes you wonder, though, doesn’t it? I mean, we weren’t the only killers out there... ”

          “ Right?! It’s just so ungrateful of the little piggies I’ve chosen to squeal so loudly! ” She moves to walk behind them, tapping each of them in turn lightly on the head, “ before you got here we were just about to finish a little game, weren’t we everyone? I’d done the eeny, meeny, miny, and all that was left was––––– –– ” She lifted the bat up above her head, bringing it down on one unsuspecting civilian and seeing their body crumple beneath the repetitive blows, “ –––– –– moe! ”

          “ That’s violent! I was just gonna’ tell you to piss off. ” She shrugged comically, huffing a piece of hair from her face as she spoke, “ had something metal, it broke; some fucking jailhouse idiot shot a hole clean through it! ” The younger paused for a moment as if in deep thought, holding up her bat and staring down the length of it, seemingly aiming it at those around the pair. “ Most of the little lambs have hidden themselves away from the slaughter, so I say... We do a little breaking and entering instead. ”

          Nonchalantly the young girl walks down the street, baseball bat perched upon her shoulder, hands bloodied despite the fact the purge has only just begun. If Cristina Santos was anything, she was resourceful, and taking out her years of pent-up aggression on the residents of Rosewick was something she wasn’t about to give up on. She adjusts her mask slightly, cracking her neck before abruptly spinning around, having heard a sound behind her. “ Weren’t you ever told that sneaking up on people is rude? Talk about a lack of manners! ” 

          “ Eeny, meeny, miny––––– –– ” Her saccharine tones fill the air as she walks down the line, metal bat screeching across the pavement like nails on a chalkboard, four civilians sat on their knees, heavy sobs a great contrast to her manic giggles. “ Oh come on! It’s a game! Aren’t you having fun? ” She rolls her eyes as the panicked groans continue, turning around just in time to see a familiar face, “ it’s about time! I don’t think my friends here are enjoying A’s gift as much as I am! ”

          “ It’s still complete bullshit that you got to kidnap her! I’d have done a great job, especially with Dev locked up, considering he’s the only one who pays any attention. Tell me you’ve carved at least one letter into her chest? ”

          “ That sounds like my brother... Always looking out for other people, like he was born to do it, you know? But yeah! They have, a few of your friends have been making sure nobody believes the rumors, so it helps. Don’t worry, when you get out everything will be back to normal! We’ll all get through this together, as a community. ”
