Ace is greedy and always calls 'dibs' and this can cause another argument. Deuce is not getting fair treatment! They argue about hole until Yuu has to snap at them to stop fighting...

I wanna se a fanfic where yuu discovers ramshackle is a living building

Like imagine the thing of ramshackle has in difference to the other dorms is that it is a living organism, it breathes, it pulses but never sleeps

It can change its space however it wants it but needs magic to do so, and since nobody has been living there for the past 100 years it grew weak and old in a sort of vegetative stage

But since yuu and grim have been living there for the past month/year or so its strength is sloooooowly getting back, its breathing again every creak of the floor is its breath, its pulsing again when you think its going to collapse on your head and you go outside and wait for a bit just to see if it will finaly crash, its vibrating with excitment of once again having residents living in it, always watching you sleeping seeing you grow comfortable in its walls

Filling them with joy once more

Houses are a place of rest, comfort, its where the heart lies, the crow cound't have possibly undurstand something he din't appreciate

⋆. 𐙚 ˚𝓙ust some Yuu headcanons but they're all canon because I said so

Grim has nightmares of you someday leaving him and he wakes up crying and screaming, it wakes you up everytime he has nightmares because hearing Grim cry immediately makes you distressed. He would snuggle up to you more and you would sing him a lullaby back home to help him fall asleep and it always works. However you can't fall asleep back because you know after you go back home Grim will be alone in the Ramshackle with no one to take care of him.

On the topic of sleeping; you would sometimes tell him a bedtime story from your back home if he couldn't fall asleep. Stories with bad endings makes him upset even though he tells you otherwise so you would often make up a happy ending for him— even though the original story had the most gut wrenching bad ending.

The students at NRC view both you and Grim as a parent and son duo respectively— this would get reinforced when you call him little one occasionally. Grim actually likes being viewed as your son but would never tell you that, you know that he secretly likes being your dubbed son because he puffs out his chest whenever your dynamic gets mentioned. He also likes being babied, but would rather die than admit that to you.

He gets overprotective over you, like: whenever a guy asks for your number while you're away from him or when a guy seems more closer to you than normal he immediately gets mad and would get into fights if not for you intervening. And if anyone tries to steal a seat near you? Best believe he's gonna throw a fit, he literally cannot be seated away from you because he needs physical touch from you. Ace and Malleus catches strays from him because of the amount of times they tried to sit next to you.

You have four jars of savings hidden away just incase; one jar is for you, it's for when you want something nice but can't get it because of the allowance Crowley gives you— it's not even full, dare I say it's ninety percent empty. Meanwhile the other three are for Grim, it's for when you leave back home, and since you don't want Grim to starve, you left him some cash because you doubt Crowley will. You thought of this after overthinking late at night for what you will do incase you ever got the opportunity to go back home.

The ghosts promised to take care of Grim when you ever go back. This promise was made after watching the two of you (mainly Grim) cry at night about the possibility of you going back home.

If you have any jewelry in you, (I do, so this is like a self indulgence) you will most likely give it to Grim to help him cope your eventual disappearance. And if you have more then you probably gave it to Ace and Deuce. They most likely had to hold back tears while you have it to them; now they fidget with it when they ever feel anxious or if they miss you.

The people who are close to you got used to you being so touchy with them (this is actually canon, Yuu in the game has physical touch as their love language) and started doing it back to you. And if they're not usually touchy to other people, you're most likely the only exception.

There is practically no chance that you didn't have some kind of scarring during the overblots. You probably do have some littered all over your body.

You are camera shy. How did your friends find out? It's because you always take pictures of them, but whenever someone offers to take pictures so you could join them you would always turn it down. So when you leave they will most likely forget your face, they know this that's why they try to include you in the photos, but you will always reason with them. However Grim is the only exception for this panicking because you have a picture of only the two of you baking in your kitchen, miraculously you were in frame because it was a selfie. You made it into a locket so you could give it to your son (yes son) when you depart from twisted wonderland.

In the recent Halloween update 3 Ace and Ortho end up alone with Swing and during this Ace steps in front of Ortho to protect Ortho behind him. this kinda made me wanna go through the story and think about how Ace typically acts in dangerous situations in the story.

Tim Burton Halloween Part 3

Ace and Ortho decide to follow a train in Christmastown to see where it leads and end up isolated back in the forest and eventually caught by Swing. I find it hilarious that Ace takes the initiative to step in front of Ortho considering that Ortho is a humanoid and is actually infinitely more physically durable than him. it kinda also reveals how generally protective Ace is of his friends despite the fact that he usually avoids more troublesome confrontations.

In this confrontation Ace does avoid making it physical and prioritizes buying time for them and looking for an exit but the fact that he purposefully places himself between Ortho and Swing reveals that in this moment he is willing to be the distraction that allows Ortho to run and get backup.

Other Moments of Danger and Patterns

typically when there are upperclassmen in combat he takes a less active role (obviously because he is just less skilled in comparison lol). but when its just the first years in battles he usually steps up and even takes a more protective role when it comes to making sure that they get out of the dangerous situation. but this protective role is actually only reserved for three freshman: Ortho, Grim, and Yuu. for example in Book 6 during the attack on campus by Styx Ace, Deuce, and Epel all take a backseat in the fight until they see that Grim is danger.

A similar moment of proactiveness happened when he believed that Grim and Yuu were in danger in his Stitch Event SR story, where he placed himself between the threat and his friends and encouraged them to escape whilst he buys time.

honestly I don't know why its only with these three characters that he has this protectiveness with but it is pretty fascinating that those three are the only ones who don't have a unique magic. could it be that subconsciously he sees them as weaker due to the lack of unique magic.

i don't know how much i believe that but it could instead be the fact that these 3 have clear weaknesses in life experience or battle experience. when you're up against a more threatening foe you're options are usually to fall back on tricks that rely on being able to quickly take advantage of hidden knowledge or the environment which is his specialty and is something that Grim/Yuu/Ortho can't rely on because of their lack of experience either in the world or with their "heart".

also if he still befriended his usual group it would be so interesting to see how book 3 would change, he wouldn't make a deal since he would know about Azul's true nature, and i can see him laughing at Deuce and Grim at first, then seeing how that is going be like "no, this is so wrong"

and doing what Ace does best, call Azul on his bulshit, but he wouldn't be able to do mch, so he would betray octavinelle and help Yuu with internal info

tho i would also love to see him in Pomefiore, he would fit with his acting skills and tendencies to try to charm others, plus vingets and coments from other characters show he loves fashon, and he cares a lot about his aperance

he would also drive Vil up a wall XD but in a different way than Epel, while i can see Ace apreciating the power of beauty, he is lazy and aways tries to take the easy way out and use shortcuts, which is basically the oposite of Vil's life philosophy, plus he definetely would still be a troublemaker and try to escape tiresome and boring routines

Vil could also be annoyed since Ace would probably try to suck up to him, being a famous star and all, but i think he would like how he is such a fast learner, and respect how Ace imposes himself when he fights for what he believes is right, plus would definetelly tease him about how much he cares about his friends

also it's implied that Riddle's dream was influenced by how he views his dorm mates

Something I noticed from a comic a few weeks back was how Mira called Loop Loop instead of Siffrin. It might not be something you can talk about but I've been curious on it for a bit.

Mainly just like how it seems Stardust might have let slip they think of Loopfrin as Loop instead of Siffrin and Loop adopts that name too.

Curious though on how Loop would feel if they thought Stardust had someone else even if they think he was made for them if that makes sense? Basically does Loop ever get jealous?

Maybe Starfrin lets slip the Loop name, maybe, I’m debating on how we get to Loop actually calling themself Loop (aside from obviously wanting to call themself something other than Siffrin and being lazy about it), I have ideas tho I just need to choose one

Sooo I haven’t decided wheeeen Loop realizes that Siffrin has a past? There comes a certain point where they believe Starfrin was literally made by them, for them (and they are technically correct with this assumption), but I’m debating on when the pieces would click.

They’re going to become aware that he has memories and stuff, but they’re going to do a lot of mental gymnastics with that information.

Yeah Loop will probably experience feelings of jealousy at some point, like, immense jealousy. Stay tuned.

Also Isabeau, he can be jelly too, because now that I’m playing the game for the first time holy SHHHIIIIIIT, that man hasn’t even asked their crush out and he gets soooo jealous soooo easily, it’s hilarious and kind of insane???
