A hearts design
Don’t play with it, Its made for pleasure, and its response to pain is that of a man taking a last breath into certain death. It is not made for games, It knows faces, and remembers your name. Its wrath is infamous, Its Glory undying. A drum playing ever on in the foreground. A beat which skips only when i see your smiling lips, and the freckled cheeks of your gorgeous face. My heart can do many things, until you let go of it. You were supposed to hold on tightly, a child holds their mothers hand crossing the road. She knows not to play in the street, but you took the chance, an event never forgotten. And just when that young girl looks up at that speeding semi it is within inches, my heart breaks into a million fractions of shattered fractals, unrecognizable but it will never forget your name.
Im sad this blog is gone, it tells a story. The story is about a boy, who was trying to become a man, and a woman who needed a man, not a boy. He lost her.. This poem is the boys story, it’s about the woman.. And the way his heart wants to quit beating.
