Care for instructions: Be there for him, either as a silent presence or someone to talk to. Obey him but know when to challenge him. Give plenty of good whiskey and play music for him. Know when to approach and when to give him space and when to ignore that. Hold him with hands that know he is strong but that he holds a tenderness underneath. Love him for who he is and support him endlessly.
