ššµšø My Daughter Was Born Under Bombs ā I'm Just Trying to Keep Her Alive
My name is Abdulmajid.
I got married one month before the war.
Those were beautiful days ā full of hope, love, and simple dreams.
I dreamed of a small home, a quiet family, and a baby girl I could hold without fear.
But the war cameā¦
Suddenly. Brutally.
My mother was killed.
My brother was killed.
Children in my family were taken by the bombs.
My home was destroyed.
And my work stopped completely.
Then⦠in the middle of this nightmare, my baby girl was born.
A tiny soul, innocent, unaware of the war.
She cries from hunger, from cold, from the sounds of bombs shaking whatās left of our walls.
Today, Iām a father with almost nothingā¦
Fighting every day to find flour, milk, or even a small meal to feed my child.
Prices are sky-high ā a single 25kg bag of flour can cost $800.
There is no work. No income. No safety. No stability.
I write this from under siege, hoping my heart will reach yours.
My name is Abedmajed Elderawi, and I live in Gaza with what remains of my once large and loving family.
Even $1 can make a difference.
It can feed a child, buy milk, or bring a moment of peace.
Be the heart that reaches Gaza. Be the hand that saves.

Chapter 119 released today!! YAYY (Spoilers ahead ā¼ļø)
Thankfully, I was wrong about my theories from my last post where Yor might ask about leaving or ending their āmarriageā. Instead, this chapter focuses on Yor and Twilight, leaning towards Yorās commitments to her assassin gig and her attachment to her family.
Something that I noticed after rereading the chapter a second time (Iām a fast reader), is that it seems implied that others in Garden that Yor works with got concerned that she mightāve āsoftenedā after she agreed to the idea of a fake family. I suppose it makes sense because while Yor has been working for Garden for probably years she had only been with who she knows as Loid and Anya for a couple months.
This is because now we know that Garden relies on strength, and as the shopkeeper says,
āshould we lose our strength, we would have no value at all.ā
I think the controversy amongst the others in Garden is the source of strength comes from. For example, for Hemlock, it may be isolation and training alone would allow him to not form any āattachmentā which serves as a weakness for him. We donāt know Hemlockās role in Garden or his backstory, (other than heās alone), but we know he doesnāt agree with Yorās source of her own strength. Because for Yor, since she took the job in the first place for her brother, it may be love, and at this point, family. Yor does her dirty work not only because protects civilians around her, but because it protects who she loves.
Now, unlike Twilight, Yor has slowly become more aware of her attachment to her family despite only being with them for a coupe months (which makes sense obviously). But now, because of the contrast between her and Hemlock, it may just make her doubt her own character and gut, as they are only to be ābloodstained toolsā. This makes her think that her love and concern for her family and want to stay and spend time with them is āinappropriateā.
Not only that, but since the last few chapters discussed Mr. McHanonās relationship with his wife it makes her wonder what Twilight would think about their fake marriage and most importantly, her job. Since this arc had just started Iām curious to see what comes next.
The chapter just released and Iām already excited for the next one!
Anyway, thatās all I gotta say for nowā this post was half-rushed..
Hasta la vista gang! See you in the next post!!
P.S
Thereās more details I wanna mention in the next post, so expect one soon hehe
Can we just appreciate how much Anya helped out Yor and Loid/Twilight with their jobs? (SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 ā¼ļø)
First off, itās hilarious that Anya was able to win the cruise trip. But anyway.
Remember when she found out that Yor was going on the same ship for her assassin job? She was actually considering not going on this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for a ābig adventureā
(They ended up going anyway but still! Kids her age would probably not even care about those types of things and probably make it harder for the parents)
Then in the later episodes, she does everything she can so that Yor can continue her killings without Twilight/Loid finding out, while trying to hide her own identity at the same time. With first giving Twilight/Loid the time to disarm the bombs on the ship, while it also allows her to find Yor so she can help her with her āmissionā.
Anya also informs the others there about the other bombs that were hidden around the ship before it was too late.
And when Yor is struggling while she fights off her opponent, she loses her weapon and is unable to fight back properly, that is until Anya comes in and throws the weapon back up for her to reach.Ā
Of course with the technique Yor taught her back in season 1 š
And in the process, she accidentally threw in the perfect position to stop the other two guys that were trying to kill them
This gave Yor the perfect opportunity to end the battle and defeat her final opponent. I think of it as a ābutterfly effectā, because if Yor never taught Anya how to throw during the dodgeball arc, I canāt see any other way she wouldāve passed it to Yor without exposing anyoneās identity.
And in return, she gets to spend time with her fake family after all :)
I discuss this because it was something I was thinking after watching season 2, and because I donāt see many people appreciate what Anya does for her family to not only stay togetherā but also for her family to stay safe.
Thereās not much I can say other than that. But yeah, good job Anya!

CHAPTER 118!!! (I think it isācorrect me if Iām wrong)
Weāve already seen Twilights perspective of this before, where they question their roles (more with Yor questioning her assassin gig as seen in a couple chapters before), because they unintentionally grew fond of each other as a family.
Now, this chapter ends in a cliffhanger.. (which builds suspense I know but still I HATE IT). And now my theory is that either Yor might ask about their āshamā marriage and she might even consider LEAVING the Forgers. We as an audience know Twilightās perspective of it thinking itās reasonable to hide his true identity if it protects them. But since it was a Eden expectation that both parents were going to attend the meeting at the start of the year, it might arouse suspicion with the āForgersā in general when others notice that Anya isnāt seen with her mother.
This could be excused for a āwork tripā and whatnot but if this theory does ever come into play it will be interesting to see how Twilight/Loid reacts.
We already know that he cares about Yor, if we can remember the last chapter where he didnāt kill her brother (who he formally referred to as Yuri Briar unlike Yor) because
āif she were to lose him, sheād lose motivation as well..ā Regarding their sham marriage and officially, it was also to protect Operation Strix from losing the āwifeā and mother in the family.
Note that I said OFFICIALLY.
We know that Twilight knows that Yor cares deeply about her brother, as she constantly apologises for his behaviour against āLoidā and tries to cover for him. And the fact that there are manga panels (that someone has analysed really well before, Iāll repost it when I find it), that he envies their relationship. As Twilight says that the two have been through so much together (and maybe it was just to ease Yuri for the mission, but it is true). We all know that it would also hurt Twilight to see Yor in pain of losing her brother and only blood relative.
Nightfall also notices this saying that she knew she was going to only get his official explanation as to why he didnāt just kill the man.
Now, the reason why I mention this is because if he is willing to this for Yor than it is interesting to see what lengths Twilight will go to in order to maintain the peace of Operation Strix. We already see Twilight overreact and panic when Yor was shot (not that he knew that), but Yor herself considering changing her mind about the marriage would be like I said, interesting to see what Twilight/Loid would do. Will he realise how much he cares about her? Will he merely just let her go? Or will he go out of his way to make her reconsider?
Another reason why I mention his fight with Yuri is because not only would it make it easier to hide his identity from āThe Secret Policeā but Iām pretty sure he finds Yuri alone annoying to deal with when he comes around to visit unexpectedly. Iām no spy, but Iām sure Twilight would find a lot of reasons why itād be easier if Yor had no relatives (her reason would just have to be different in this caseā Sorry Yuri.)
Edit: Something I forget to mention is that the thing is: he didnāt. Even when he had the chance to get rid of a potential enemy that could see through his mask, for Yor, he didnāt kill Yuri Briar (and to be honest Iām glad because he is truly a underrated character)
To conclude, I kinda wanna see Twilight fight for his family because it would also really illustrate how heās grown to love his family.
I havenāt actually seen many people mention anything about this panel and Iām quite surprised I donāt see people say anything about it at all because WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOUāLL BE READY TO PROTECT YOR??
From the very start heās said many, many times that his āroleā for Operation Strix is that he is meant to play as an ideal father and husband. This would also sell the story straight that the Forgers (despite being forged as the name says) are a real family.
But NOBODYā other than Anya who only knows this because of her mind readingā would know that he is ready to protect her in case Melinda (spoilers) would harm her. You could say it was because of a potential new scheme (The Mommy Friend Scheme) but he only thinks of this after saying this.
All in all, what Iām really just trying to prove with this is.. HE CARES ABOUT HER
Perhaps (most likely) he doesnāt even realise it but he deeply cares about the safety of Yor and Anya and this manga panel proved that.
Now the question remains is will this family stick together? After Chapter 118 the suspense is killing me and I really really want to know!!!

Sorry, I donāt have any money. But the least I can do is spread awareness!!
Also I was reading through the comments and everyone was saying like āoh why does it look like heās enjoying itā and āthey sure do know what theyāre doingā but then I found one that reminded me that this was a contest about āfacing your fearsā.
We Disventure Camp fans now know the issues with Odd Nations Cartoons but I believe that we can persevere through this issue and weāll be ok!!! (Iāll elaborate on this in another post for others who donāt know the situation)

Yor and Loid (or Twilight? Iām not sure) getting attached to their āfakeā family (SPOILERS FOR SEASON 2 ā¼ļø)
Iām gonna keep yapping ^^
Anyway, Yor was so cool in these episodes, seeing her in her own element is truly something amazing.
Seeing her perspective is really interesting, and we can see her slowly getting attached to her āfamilyā. With her questioning why she does her assassin gigs and her only thinking that it was for her family (until she realises the reason she has this job in the first place is also for money.)
āAnd with her last thoughts when she was about to give up was that she wasnāt gonna be able to get the Loidās clothes from the cleaners or pick up Anyaās library books. Itās become very obvious.
Yor Briar has grown to care and started to get attached to her āfake familyā.
We can also see this with Twilight/Loid
He at first thinks of them as his family until he realises what heās said and reminds himself that itās for the mission. If you ask me, I think his emotions are slowly showing. (HE CARES CHAT HE CARES!!!)
And this doesnāt just happen with Loid and Yor just towards each other and Anya, but Loid/Twilight has also grown to care about Bond.
Why would Loid/Twilight reassure Bond if he didnāt care? I donāt think Loid realises how much his āfamilyā means to him and how thankful and happy Bond has heard that from Loid.
Also Twilight might be an excellent spy, but he is sometimes such a bad LIARRRRā

I dunno I just thought that it was a really good fanfic and that finally somebody had done a tom centric one
It has been a little bit off seeing people not taking in consideration Tom's feelings in the narrative as of late and that fanfic clearly explored how his feelings for Jake and the fears he has mentioned have showcased
Hey whoever this person is I am so sorry I never replied to this, there was a lot of crazy things thatās happened to me lately. Itās no excuse but Iāll try to reply to other asks as soon as I can..
I havenāt caught up with the series, the last episode I watched was episode 2, but I will talk about them later on after I finish catching up with whats happened.
Again, anon, IāM SO SORRY that I took such a long time to respond. And I hope you have a good day/night
Teyvat's "Most Down Bad" Award Goes to Alhaitham for a Second Year Running
Seeing everyone making fun of Alhaitham for his "stalkerish" tendencies in this event is funny, because I feel like a lot of people missed that "Be literally everywhere Kaveh is" has been Alhaitham's MO from the day Kaveh appeared in the game.
From only grabbing his house keys after Kaveh returned from the desert (he couldn't have had both sets of keys at the end of the Archon Quest unless he went home and got Kaveh's copy) to ditching conversations to get back to his house only after Kaveh came home, to showing up without any warning or explanation in Kaveh's hangout with some ridiculous excuse about hearing his voice through noise-cancelling headphones... Refusing to offer any help in the Temple of Silence story quest other than staying in the library with Kaveh...
Since when does Alhaitham willingly cover anyone else's duties?
But this trend of "Be everywhere Kaveh is" didn't start when they were adults. It was already in place when they were still Akademiya students--and it's a trend that didn't end even when they had their fight.
Even when they weren't speaking, Alhaitham dogged Kaveh's every step through published responses to Kaveh's research articles in academic journals. He insisted on keeping a line of communication between himself and Kaveh open, even if the only way to do that was through very public ideological clashes. Pulling Kaveh's pigtails to get his attention lolol. It's implied that, for at least the few years between their fight and Kaveh moving in, this was the only communication between them--Alhaitham's refusal to allow their connection to entirely fade away. (And the fact that this is revealed in Kaveh's character stories--through his precious journal that records the moments of his life that had the most impact on him--shows just how deeply he values the fact that Alhaitham didn't give up.)
Another relevant side note: Alhaitham never asked Kaveh to give up his half of their house. Knowing half of it belonged to Kaveh, knowing that Kaveh may one day want to reclaim his part of it, knowing that it was listed as theirs, Alhaitham moved into the house and made zero effort to change its ownership. He was completely fine with living in "his and Kaveh's house." The stories suggest it was only months later (or even longer) that Kaveh even noticed he had the house, and he transferred away ownership of his portion without Alhaitham ever asking him (or even seemingly wanting him) to do so.
Please, let that sink in. Alhaitham actively left his grandmother's (presumably comfortable) house to move into "his and Kaveh's house," with no apparent explanation for why, and after doing so, he made no attempt to change that "his and Kaveh's" label. He moved into the house with no promise that Kaveh wouldn't show up on the doorstep the very next day and move in too. It almost feels like another deliberate provocation--I've moved into our house, are you going to come stop me? LBR, if Alhaitham had had his way, Kaveh would have been living there with him from Day 1...
There's also the fact that Kaveh literally can't write on a single message board anywhere in the entire nation of Sumeru without Alhaitham hunting his messages down and responding to them (which absolutely no one else does, by the way).
"NUH-UH!" "UH-HUH." "NUH-UH!"
Alhaitham's own character stories tell us explicitly that one of Alhaitham's defining character traits is "He is never where you need him to be," yet somehow...
Shot, and chaser:
Any time Kaveh is in the slightest bit of need or danger or just wants Alhaitham near, Alhaitham is "coincidentally" exactly where Kaveh needs him to be, whenever Kaveh needs him to be there.
Alhaitham didn't just "happen" to run into Kaveh in Port Ormos, an entirely different city from where he was supposed to be working. He didn't just "happen" to read the same terrible book as Kaveh when we know he otherwise would not waste a moment of his time on poorly-written literature...
He didn't just "happen" to appear when Kaveh was upset and needed a distraction in the House of Daena during Kaveh's hangout. He didn't just "happen" to be sitting around waiting when Kaveh needed answers after the Archon Quest. He didn't just "happen" to find Kaveh's academic publications and every single message board posting and respond to them at length and in public.
The only person for whom Alhaitham just "happens" to be available is Kaveh, over and over and over again--because he is very deliberately making himself a constant presence in Kaveh's life.
Which is exactly what Kaveh's mother told Kaveh he needed.
(Like, out of all things, I think people really underestimate the devs deliberately paralleling the romantic relationship between Kaveh's mother and father with Kaveh and Alhaitham's relationship. If you want to point to one thing that says "These two characters are intentionally queer-coded," it doesn't get any more obvious than this.)
Alhaitham, are you not embarrassed to be this transparent??? š«£
First off, agreed, Kaveh is just extremely oblivious at this point.
I feel like every time Kaveh somehow finds Alhaitham at the perfect place at the perfect time (aka whenever he needs him) heās just like āoh what a COINCIDENCE YOU JUST HAPPEN TO BE WHERE I NEED YOU EVERY SINGLE TIME.ā
That ahoge Alhaitham has is probably a tracker for Kaveh..
But yeah weird thing is, people often debate that Alhaitham and Kaveh HATE each other. And with all the analysis and things Iāve read, ??? No?? They donāt?? This just proves that. Why would Alhaitham do these things if he absolutely despised the architect? He would most likely AVOID Kaveh instead of sharing his home and somehow being there when he needs him.
