So I was making a classic Peanut Butter and Toast when the accursed thought came to me. Is peanut butter a condiment? What makes something classify as a condiment? What about butter? Does butter count? You could say it is used in the same ways as ketchup and mustard. Is jelly a condiment? People spread jelly on things, I think. Are peanut butter and jelly sandwiches just condiment sandwiches? I mean, I suppose you could argue that butter is a seasoning, but that just doesn't feel right. Is lettuce a seasoning? Other plants are, why not it? Is blood a condiment? If I dry it and use the flakes, is it a seasoning? When I use my blood on food, does it boost the food rating, or should I not approve that? When I open a bee themed restaurant, I need to know these things. Bees care about the classification of butter and blood and such, and I won't bee able to keep ahead of rent if my menus aren't correctly labeled. Is melted chocolate a condiment? It's used on things, sometimes. How does cheese classify? It has so many different forms, from melted to solid to flakes! Can pollen be a seasoning, or is it only for decoration? How can I tell between edible and poisonous flowers? Is honey a condiment? Please help me.
