Dee Amazing Me

Upon his shoulders rested the challenge of redeeming creation, but he still took time to walk ninety miles from Jericho to Cana to go to a wedding.

There’s no indication that he ever used his divine position and performed all of these miracles for personal gain. Ever. Jesus was genuinely likable, and his disciples should embody the same spirit. His faith made him likable, not detestable.

And then it dawned on me.

This is not a romantic song for lovers.

𝘛𝘩𝘪𝘴 𝘪𝘴 𝘢 𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘴𝘩𝘪𝘱 𝘴𝘰𝘯𝘨.

And when the line “𝗦𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡, 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗔𝗡… 𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘄 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗴𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻” came, I broke into tears.

I was thinking of God. I was thinking of the many questions I have for him. Tapos isa isa silang nagfafall into perspective.

"Lord .. KAILAN kaya ako makakahanap ng bagong trabaho?"

"Lord ... SINO ang pag kakatiwalaan ko?"

"Lord ... SAAN mo kaya ako gagamitin?

𝗦𝗮 𝗯𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗞𝗔𝗜𝗟𝗔𝗡, 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗔𝗧 𝗦𝗔𝗔𝗡… 𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘄 𝗹𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗴𝘂𝘁𝗮𝗻.

𝗕𝗮𝘄𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝘁 𝗸𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘄𝗮,

𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗼𝗴 𝗺𝗮𝗻, 𝗼 𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗮.

Whether I go to the left or to the right, I shall hear Your voice, Lord. (Re: Isaiah 30:20-21)

Kung pa-timog man ang nangyayari ngayon na di ko maintindihan pero parang pababa lahat —

O pahilaga na magaganda at naaayon sa plano ang mga ganap —

𝘼𝙣𝙜 𝙗𝙖𝙬𝙖𝙩 𝙙𝙖𝙖𝙣 𝙠𝙤 𝙖𝙮 𝙥𝙖𝙩𝙪𝙣𝙜𝙤 𝙥𝙖𝙗𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙠 𝙨𝙖 𝙄𝙮𝙤.

Even the pain can be our friend if we allow it to lead us to the comforting presence of God.

𝗞𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝘂𝘀𝗼 𝗸𝗼 𝗮𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗽𝗮,

𝗜𝗸𝗮𝘄 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝘂𝗹𝗼, 𝗮𝗻𝗴 𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗻𝗮 𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝗮.

You are the Alpha and the Omega.

The Beginning and The End.

It’s amazing how God finds ordinary ways to calm the storms in our hearts. My questions, though they remain unanswered, have found peace — through a love song for the Lord.

I love You, Lord.

“And if you were to ask me after all that we've been through, still believe in magic, oh yes I do.”

I don't ever want to lose the wonder and joy of having amazing people to go through life with.

I wish there were more days in a week to have more meals, conversations, moments, and memories with all of you.

Belonging in a church community is not always easy, but it is absolutely worth it.
