Hi im still in a werewolf mood. I may or may not be projecting my current muse onto these 2. The werewolf is the gf and shes holding her man protectively
an old poem that i reread and still kinda like
god is a woman
im your manic pixie dream girl, im your worst nightmare im the mother of whores, the next virgin mary i am your therapist, im clinically insane i will crack a whip till you dance for me, and i will let you crawl all over me
i am that which makes you quiver under your sobs in the night and that which makes you froth with rage all the same
the sway of my hip edges you ever closer to ecstacy and a single tear can make you lose a war
i am both sacred and a sacrilege i am your salvation, i am your sin
self portrait hehehehhehehehheheh
also new avatar, i want a new oneee

ELFES
from left to right, my Lithyllis and @brightmoontrigonās Isavel and Arovir. VERY GOOD ELFES!!! although Lilly acts like a condescending bitch most of the time tsk tsk
hello hi hello
i have been drawing, albeit scarcely... but i have!! i sketched some vampires awhile ago, but the other one hasnāt appeared in the World of Darkness campaign yet so i canāt release that drawing yet either. but i did draw some WoW elves which I shall post soon.........
but then i read a lot of kc green this month and wentĀ āwhat if i tried drawing cartoon strips tooā and this is the result and im not entirely sure i will commit but at least im steadily making art and thats enough for me
also listen to Type O NegativeāsĀ āWolf Moonā bc that was like the main inspo for this, also the hardships of womanhood and being a hairy woman etc etc etc
i wish i could be a werewolf at this time of month. actually it would be nice if i was a werewolf all the time. then i wouldnt have to shave. yeah.
Commissions Survival Guide
this is something that I started to write like 2 years ago, but it got WAY too long and then my life got crazy so I never edited it down, BUTā¦.. now is finally the time. Iām gonna just get right into it - I am basing all of this on what Iāve learned via having steady freelance work for the past 4 ½ years!
Communications
- my favored chat client is Discord. if you donāt want your work life bleeding into your personal life, make a separate account that you use solely for communicating with your commissioners. itās fast, logs are searchable, and the way links appear as images is great for sending references back and forth. I have it set so that Discord recognizes my art program as a game and shows how long Iāve been using it, which is great for gauging your hourly rates as well!
- SEND SKETCHES EARLY. like VERY early. just get enough information down so that your commissioner can see the idea for the pose and composition. weāre talking almost stick-figures here:
this will save you so much time and pain in the case that you have to rework something. donāt be afraid of showing your process - your commissioner already knows your final product looks good! itās why they want to pay you in the first place!
- send lots of updates! ask clarifying questions! get to know the character youāre being commissioned to draw! virtually all of the people who commission me are other Creatives (writers and roleplayers), and it REALLY helps put you in a good headspace if you think of commissions as a collaboration rather than just a job. good communication will often lead to repeat clients, which are immense pillars of support for my art.
- be polite, but keep it casual. again, unless youāre doing work for a big company your commissioners are usually going toĀ be your peers. no need to stress about overly formal business-email style communications.
Payment And Pricing
- Paypal is the norm and itās what I use for 99% of circumstances so thatās what Iām gonna talk about. (rarely there have been instances where Paypal was not an option, so I chose to get paid via Amazon gift card insteadā¦.. though this made tracking down my income more complicated that year for taxes ahaha)
- invoices are your friend. Paypal loves when you send invoices because itās within their TOS. you very much want to be within their TOS. Paypal DOES TAKE A CUT out of invoice payments though! if you want to avoid this cut, you can use an invoice calculator online and then factor the fee into the price of your commission. invoices also allow your clients to tip you, which is an added bonus.
- be sure to set the invoice type as either āDigital goodsā or āServiceā, so that it doesnāt ask your client for shipping information. you can also edit the tracking information on payments via the Activity tab, and selecting āOrder Processed/Service Renderedā also stops it from asking for a tracking number.
- when deciding your rates, you want to factor in how long it takes you to complete an artwork but you also donāt want to punish yourself for working quickly! add in the time you spend looking at references AND the time you spend corresponding with your clients to help round this out. deciding on pricing is a personal thing that varies on the individual, but $15 an hour is what I started out with for basing my flat rates off of. my flat rates are a base price that varies on design complexity, so there is still some flexibility there.
- when you take payment is up to you - some people do all upfront, some half upfront and the rest on completion, etcā¦. personally, I take payment once the commissioner gives their approval on the sketch, but other times people will pay me early. for trusted repeat clients I will often times let them pay later as well! whatever you do, donāt hand over a completed artwork without payment if itās someone youāre not familiar with!
Closing Thoughts
Keep reading
aww hecc bois! itās a new commission sheet!
will draw: fantasy, people, animals, anthro, mild nsfw like pinups or nudity, simple mech stuff like motorcycles or cars (don't expect them to be super accurate)
won't draw: hardcore nsfw (including obscure fetishes and kinks), ridiculously detailed mechs or armour
the process is simple: you send me a message via pm and specify the details of what you want drawn. I'll get to work and show you the sketch. payment via PayPal invoice, you gotta pay first before you get the completed piece. I have the right to refuse a commission if I deem it uncomfortable / unfair towards me.
if you want to know any other details, you have but to ask.
this sheet contains some of my latest work (2020), except the elf in the shaded pieces area, that one's from December last year. I can also do traditional work like inks ranging between 10-20+ ā¬, and sketches starting at 5 ā¬. if there's anything special you want and I can do, again - ask.
currently I'm really keen on taking commissions 'cause I gotta fund my skin care and therapy for chronic acne and dermatillomania. I usually work during the weekends, so I'll try to finish stuff as fast as I can. a maximum waiting time of 1 month if uni gets really hellish, but these days I'm counting on 1-2 week(end)s.
goddess, light my path
commission for @brightmoontrigon of her night elf huntress, Yael~

another ESO character of mine, the altmer Arriarne chilling in her private mansion on a private island in a private morning
an abstract piece from when I was feeling down, done for a digital art course in uni
this is an altered version of that autoportrait as a caricature hehe, also done for my digital art course in uni
low-key face reveal
we had to design an interior for the digital art course in uni, so I took the opportunity to do some more planning for my comic. long story short: this isn't the final design. I'mma replace the weird Rococo-inspired chairs with fuzzy rectangular orange armchairs and make that table a lot thiccer. the rest may stay more or less same, maybe change the colour scheme a bit

ppl be clowning men with fedoras but as long as you are a man with long hair you are my king ;););) jokes aside, this is one of my recent fave characters, Rein, who plays poker and performs with piano at the seediest bars. he may or may not be part of a future story, however he will appear as a teen in my upcoming comic, "Those Who Remember". this piece was done for a digital art course I took in spring for uni
for some reason I forgot to upload this here
hereās my nerd from ESO, Nelaren Llethi, whoās originally from Clockwork City but moved into a remote place in Stonefalls for numerous reasons. heās interested in tonal architecture. he never actually succeeds in replicating those powerful artifacts, of course, but manages to invent electronic music. dunmer DJs ftw
the screenshot behind him is his home in Kragenmoor, the room furnished by yours truly. I really had a love-hate relationship with ESO due to both bad and good memories, but furnishing shit was only a positive experience for me. the housing system in that game is really stellar and the only valid part of the game hahaha
