El Hoyo
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt8228288/
A dystopian science fiction horror film directed by Galder Gaztelu-Urrutia which is set in a prison aka the hole which houses 2 inmates per floor. The inmates are switched around between floors every month. Takes you on an emotional ride from the lens of the main character played by Iván Massagué. It emphasizes on the selfish gene in our dna and how we cannot escape it when situations are dire.
A little hard to watch if you do not have an appetite for gore. This movie makes you think a bit and is not a light-hearted watch. Recommend when you are in the mood for a more heavy and serious movie.

Tootsie
https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0084805/
Starring Dustin Hoffman, this movie exposes the harsh realities of inequality and sexism that women had to face in the 80′s on film sets. The lead actor stands up against this injustice in his own way and sets an example for the other women on the set to disrupt the status quo. Reminded me of the heforShe movement but in an unexpected fashion. The director finds a nice way to place all this in front of us in a light hearted manner.
A great movie to watch on a Friday night with some popcorn! Recommend!

How to build motivation?
* Remind yourself of the why
* Add personal, meaningful reasons to the tasks that you put off. Make yourself remember why you took them on.
How to break work down?
* Identify the distinct parts that form the whole.
* Create a simple timeline.
It doesn't have to be complicated.
Start with the due date.
Go back day by day (or week by week) and write down what you'd like to have done by then, until you arrive at today.
Put this timeline where you'll see it (remember: out of sight, out of mind).
Start working on the first piece of the puzzle.
How to add a trigger
* Create a cue
* When you sit down to work, you can take your to-do list and give yourself 5-15 minutes to decide which task to start with
* At the end of one work day, determine where you want to start the next day and put it into your calendar.
* define a specific task to do, at a specific place, at a specific moment in time - and make sure you can't miss the cue.
Blocks are one of the most powerful and often overlooked feature of ruby. There is something about yield that makes blocks very hard to understand at first. I’m going to talk about some of the concepts and provide a few examples so by the end of this post you’ll have a solid understanding of ruby blocks.
The title says it all! Great article!
Sets or arrays ?
Great article on when to use sets instead of arrays. https://spin.atomicobject.com/2012/09/04/when-is-a-set-better-than-an-array-in-ruby/

From Occam's Razor to Parkinson's Law of Triviality, let's discuss some of the most useful adages and quotes in the world of software development.
The best code is no code at all :)
The system includes a design for the camera hardware and the accompanying stitching code that marries the video from 17 cameras, vastly reducing post-production effort and time.
Super neat! VR + 360. Facebook feeds are definitely going to be a LOT more interesting!
Be unambiguous with your code, or your engine will have to guess what you mean -- And it could be wrong.
Great example of why semicolons matter in javascript.
