The stars shine down on us as diamonds in the sky. The stars are symbolic of us, the children of God, so shine bright! 

Hell is a dead, dry place because there is no living water there. Light is associated with warmth while darkness is associated with the cold. Hell therefore (contrary to tradition) is a cold, dark place and so are those who dwell there. The touch of the cold hand is not a good sign (symbolically speaking).

Linkin Park Suicide All fans of Linkin Park, Soundgarden, and Nirvana need to know about why this is happening. The next time another famous musician commits suicide you will know why, because this darkness is not ending anytime soon. I wonder if Chester Bennington had a successful journey across the "New Divide"? These words are from one of his own songs. "Let the floods cross The distance in your eyes Give me reason To fill this hole Connect this space between Let it be enough to reach the truth that lies Across this new divide" New Divide by Linkin Park The "New Divide", the "Great Gulf", the "Deep" or the "Great Divide" was created by the War in heaven. It is a great divide in the world of spirits that divides the wicked from the righteous. On the righteous side of the world of spirits is a paradise, a place of peace and safety. On the wicked side of the world of spirits is a cold ocean of sorrow that exists just beyond this world. When we were born we crossed over this gulf to enter into this world. When we die we must once again make the journey back over it. Christ spoke of this gulf in the story of Lazarus and the rich man. In this story a wicked rich man dies and goes to hell. He looks up and sees Abraham a great distance away. He then petitions Abraham for his help. Here is Abraham's response to him. "And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence." Luke 16:26 Isaiah was also aware of this troubled sea. “But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.” Isaiah 57:20,21 This is gulf of misery is spoken of much in music and scripture. The evil spirits that influence so much of our modern music speak of a day when they will attempt to cross this great divide. "Headed for the open door Tell me what you're waiting for Look across the great divide Soon they're gonna hear The sound, the sound, the sound When we come running" We Come Running by Youngblood Hawke As you can see these spirits use modern music to encourage each other, because for now their situation is one of despair, one of rolling in the deep. "Think of me in the depths of your despair Make a home down there As mine sure won't be shared... We could have had it all Rolling in the deep" Rolling In the Deep by Adele Symbolically "Waves" are the souls in this cold ocean of hell. "You hear them when you try to fall asleep They crash to the shore, they come from the deep… Waves picking you up pushing you down they're always around... They can carry you all the way to me They can pull you out to the deep blue sea Oh waves, there are waves… Empires will crumble to the sand All that you love can slip through your hand But you must face the ocean once again Follow the tides, wherever you've been" Waves by Blondfire When we die we must once again cross over this ocean of misery. "But you must face the ocean once again, follow the tides, wherever you've been". This is our personal journey to the promised land of heaven. We must all make this journey across the gulf of death. "but in his great mercy hath brought us over that everlasting gulf of death and misery, even to the salvation of our souls." Alma 26:20 The purpose of this gulf is to divide the wicked from the righteous at death. "And a great and a terrible gulf divideth them" 1 Nephi 12:18 "And I said unto them that it was an awful gulf, which separated the wicked from the tree of life, and also from the saints of God. And I said unto them that it was a representation of that awful hell, which the angel said unto me was prepared for the wicked." 1 Nephi 15:28,29 "they are carried away captive down to the eternal gulf of misery and woe." 2 Nephi 1 At death the righteous easily cross over this gulf of misery, but the wicked are engulfed by it. "Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked-- And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out." Helaman 3:29, 30 "when the devil shall send forth his mighty winds, yea, his shafts in the whirlwind, yea, when all his hail and his mighty storm shall beat upon you, it shall have no power over you to drag you down to the gulf of misery and endless wo, because of the rock upon which ye are built, which is a sure foundation, a foundation whereon if men build they cannot fall." Helaman 5:12 The righteous cross over this gulf with such ease most don't even realize that it is there. This is because they keep their eyes on the light, but the wicked flee from the light. When they do this they are swallowed up by the deep. "For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved." John 3:20 When the light is rejected it is then impossible to swim against the strong tides of the deep. "The lights go out and I can't be saved Tides that I tried to swim against... Come out upon my seas" Clocks by Coldplay “The tides have caused the flame to dim” All of My Love by Led Zeppelin The spirits that influence much of our modern music call out to these musicians for them to come and join them in this sea of sorrow. This is what "Come out upon my seas" means. This is a call for them to commit suicide. This is what happened to Nirvana's Kurt Cobain, Linkin Park’s Chester Bennington, Soundgarden’s Chris Cornell, and so many others. You cannot be an organ for this dark message without it affecting you. Earlier this year Soundgarden's lead man Chris Cornell put a belt around his neck and hung himself in his motel room. His family was shocked and surprised by this saying there were no signs. If you were familiar with the symbolism in modern music that among other things stresses suicide Kurt Cobain putting a shotgun in his mouth wouldn't surprise you either. Many songs strongly encourage suicide in a symbolic way like Justin Timberlake's song Mirrors. In this symbolic way of speaking the veil between the worlds is often referred to as a door, a window, a curtain, or even a mirror. “If you ever feel alone and The glare makes me hard to find Just know that I’m always Parallel on the other side… Just put your hand on the glass I’m here tryin’ to pull you through You just gotta be strong” Mirrors by Justin Timberlake These evil spirits are always there on the other side trying with all their might to pull us through the “Mirror” by having us end our lives. Another of these symbols for the veil is the “Curtain”. “We can make this leap Through the curtains of the waterfall So say Geronimo! Geronimo by Sheppard. No I don’t think I’ll be singing along with any of these songs especially if I’ve been having a bad day. You may not hear these voices calling out to you at night but many of our musicians do. “Listen as the wind blows From across the great divide Voices trapped in yearning Memories trapped in time” Possession by Sarah McLachlan “Echoed voices in the night She’s a restless spirit on an endless flight” Witchy Woman by Eagles Wind is symbolic of spirit, that which is felt but not seen. “I hear a wind Whistling air Whispering in my ear” Roam by the B-52’s “Like a wind from the ocean Feel the lightnin’ in the air Look in the mirror Are you the only one there” Everyones a Star by TNT A wind from the ocean is a spirit from hell coming through the “mirror” or the veil. These evil spirits inspire so many of the messages in our music, messages of sorrow and death, messages urging suicide. These evil spirits know that a human life is precious, something in their view to be destroyed. They take great joy when their work is successful as it has been this week. “Swish, swish, bish Another one in the basket Can’t touch this Another one in the casket” Swish Swish by Katy Perry Yea creepy. And we listen to this crap. Here’s one last one from Linkin Park. "(Caught in the undertow Just caught in the undertow) And every second I waste is more than I can take" Numb by Linkin Park If I could somehow get a message through to Chester Bennington I would say; "Go to the light so that you are not caught in the undertow". Do you think he would listen? The next time another musician commits suicide you will now know why this is happening, because this darkness is not ending anytime soon.

An ancient symbolic way of speaking, such as that used in the Book of Isaiah, has reappeared in our modern music. These cryptic messages In music first began to appear in the lyrics of groups such as The Beatles and Led Zeppelin back in the 1960's. "In my thoughts I have seen Rings of smoke Through the trees" Smoke, mist, wind, and breath are all symbols for spirit. The trees are symbolic of people. The "Rings of smoke through the trees" would be symbolic of the influence of spirits upon the people. In this particular song I believe this spirit influence to be coming from the dark side. The influence of these spirits causes the spiritual senses to become dulled blinding the eyes and hardening the hearts of the people. This is the slumber of death Jacob spoke of - "O my brethren, hearken unto my words; arouse the faculties of your souls; shake yourselves that ye may awake from the slumber of death; and loose yourselves from the pains of hell that ye may not become angels to the devil, to be cast into that lake of fire and brimstone which is the second death." Jacob 3:11 The slumber of death has come upon our country and no matter how loud the warning voice our fellow countrymen will not awake. Modern music is one of the reasons why this sleep of death has come upon us.

Just what is Purple Rain anyway? More musicians than Prince have spoken of Purple Rain. Purple Rain, Sky, Crystal, Silver, Blue, and Doors are all symbols used in both Scripture and music. - Also The Sun, The Moon, and the Stars explained. This is Joseph's dream (who was sold into Egypt) "And he dreamed yet another dream, and told it his brethren, and said, Behold, I have dreamed a dream more; and, behold, the sun and the moon and the eleven stars made obeisance to me. And he told it to his father, and to his brethren: and his father rebuked him, and said unto him, What is this dream that thou hast dreamed? Shall I and thy mother and thy brethren indeed come to bow down ourselves to thee to the earth? And his brethren envied him; but his father observed the saying." Joseph's father knew the symbolic meaning of the dream. The Sun is a symbol for father. The Moon is a symbol for Mother and the Stars are the children. In the scriptures the Sun is always referred to as male and the Moon is always referred to as female and the stars are not gender specific. "For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light; the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine." "Praise ye him, sun and moon: praise him, all ye stars of light." We are the "Stars of Light". We are beings of light. "And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth:" The stars falling to the earth are the children of God coming to the earth either through birth or through being cast down to the earth because they followed Lucifer and rebelled. One third of the stars / children of God followed Lucifer and fell from heaven or were cast down to the earth. "and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit." This star (Child of God) was Lucifer. "there shall come a Star out of Jacob, and a Sceptre shall rise out of Israel" This star was Christ "And behold, there shall a new star arise, such an one as ye never have beheld; and this also shall be a sign unto you." The star that appeared at Christ's birth was a symbolic sign that Christ, the brightest star / child of God had been born. These fallen children / angels / spirits influence much of our modern music. Even though the war in heaven was very bitter these spirits are still very proud of the fact that they are Stars (The Children of God). "We could be stars falling from the sky shining how we want brighter than the sun" - Brighter Than the Sun by Colbie Callait We are the stars that fell from the sky (Heaven). The sky is symbolic of the world above us or heaven. The ancient Israelites believed that blue was the color of heaven. Once your cast out of heaven there's no going back - "Out of the blue And into the black They give you this But you pay for that And once you're gone You can never come back When you're out of the blue And into the black" - My, My, Hey, Hey by Neil Young "They traveled through the world on a silvery light The people of the Earth stood waiting Watching as the ships came one by one Setting fire to the sky as they landed Carrying to the world Children Of The Sun... Then a beam made of light hit the ground... They passed the limits of imagination Through the doors - to a world - of another time... Thru the walls of time - at the speed of light Fly the crystal ships on their celestial flightOn their celestial flight" - Children of the Sun by Billy Thorpe Crystal is one of the symbols of the Celestial world. These formerly Crystal / Celestial being came through the door (the veil) from another world (heaven). Silver and Gold are also symbols of the Celestial world. The "silvery light" is a reference by these fallen angels to their former glory. The "beam made of light" that "hit the ground" was these spirits landing hard as their fall from heaven was completed. Showered in dazzling white." The Storm, sometimes referred to in music as Purple Rain, is what cast these fallen children out of heaven. "Wishing on a falling star Waiting for the early train Sorry boy, but I've been hit by purple rain" - Ventura Highway by America The falling "star" he is wishing on, or following, is Lucifer. This misplaced allegiance caused him to be hit by purple rain. Purple is the color of royalty. Purple rain is the storm of the King of Heaven, or God. This is the power by which these spirits were cast out of heaven. "You say you want a leader But you can't seem to make up your mind I think you better close it And let me guide you to the purple rain Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain Purple rain, purple rain I only wanted to see you Bathing in the purple rain" - Purple Rain by Prince Creepy stuff. We are being spoken to every day by these evil, fallen, cast out spirits, angels, or former children of God. They are speaking to us in our music. Be careful what you sing along with!

More on water symbols here. The sea or the ocean is a symbol for a world. This song is about making the leap from one world to another. "can you feel it Now it's coming backing We can steel it If we bridge this gap I can see you Through the curtains of the waterfall... We can make this leap Through the curtains of the waterfall... Well I'm just a boy... At the curtains of the waterfall So it's here I stand As a broken man But I've found my friend At the curtains of the waterfall... At the curtains of the waterfall So say Geronimo" - Geronimo by Sheppard The "gap" that he wants to bridge is the space between this physical world and the world of spirit. The waterfall is symbolic of the veil between the worlds. In this song this spirit wants her to "make this leap" through the veil, or in other words to die so that they can once again be together. Together in "The Deep" (Hell) This is a common theme that is repeated in music. The song Don't Fear the Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult has a very similar message. "Came the last night of sadness And it was clear she couldn't go on The door (The veil between the worlds) was open and the wind (Spirit) appeared The candles blew and then disappeared The curtains flew and then he appeared Saying don't be afraid Come on baby And she had no fear And she ran to him Then she started to fly She looked backward and said goodby She had become like they are She had taken his hand She had become like they are Come on baby Don't fear the reaper" - Don't Fear The Reaper by Blue Oyster Cult A burning candle is a symbol for a human soul. When the wind blows your candle out you symbolically die. Very similar message in both of these songs. Another song like this is Justin Timberlake's song "Mirrors" The mirror is also a symbol for the veil between the worlds. Just put your hand on the glass I'm here try'in to pull you through You just gotta be strong" - Mirrors by Justin Timberlake These spirits who influence our music remember us and apparently there was a lot of puppy love going on in the preexistence.

The waves of the sea are symbolic of the people of the world. The foam on the top of the wave is symbolic of the king or leader of the people. He exalts himself over the people but his glory is fleeting.

Usually when Isaiah uses the term "In that day" he is referring to our day. The sea is symbolic of the world and the waves are symbolic of the people. The waves of the sea = The people of the earth. The sea roaring is a symbol of a state of commotion, war, or chaos.

The ocean is symbolic of a world. It could be a Celestial world as in "the sea of glass" or it could be hell as in "the deep". Every symbolic word has it's opposite. The waves of the sea are the people of the world. There are good waves and bad waves.

The things of this world "crumble to the sand" or in other words do not last and "slip through your hand". Every journey to the promised land in the scriptures involved crossing water. Moses and the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea, Joshua and the children of Israel crossing the Jordan River, the Jaredites, Lehi and his family. These journeys are symbolic of the ultimate journey to the promised land we all make at death. "Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it." Ecclesiastes 12:7 The spirits who influence modern music know that we are destined to return to where we came. "But you must face the ocean once again. Follow the tide wherever you've been" This crossing of water has a purpose to it. 29 Yea, we see that whosoever will may lay hold upon the word of God, which is quick and powerful, which shall divide asunder all the cunning and the snares and the wiles of the devil, and lead the man of Christ in a strait and narrow course across that everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked-- 30 And land their souls, yea, their immortal souls, at the right hand of God in the kingdom of heaven, to sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and with Jacob, and with all our holy fathers, to go no more out. Helaman 3:29 & 30 The "everlasting gulf of misery which is prepared to engulf the wicked" is the deep or the ocean. In the Old Testament "the deep" was a symbol for hell. Thus this crossing of water has its intended purpose of swallowing up the wicked. If everyone were able to make the journey to heaven, heaven would no longer be heaven. The spirits who influence our modern music have much to say about "The Deep". Stay tuned and I'll show you both the good side and the bad side of these ocean symbols.

Who are these 7 that Prince wants to “smoke” or kill? With the passing of Prince this week I’ve decided to give the interpretation to one of his more cryptic songs. The symbolism in both music and some of the more cryptic books of scripture like Isaiah is the same. This is how I know what the deeper meaning of this song is. When you understand the symbolism involved here you will see that this is a song that rejoices in the blood of the prophets being spilt. So who are these 7 that Prince wants to “smoke” or kill? They are seven prophets; each of which is set at the head of a dispensation of time. They are also known as - - The seven thunders (Revelation 10:3-4) - The seven lightenings (Job 38:35 Psalms 77:18 Revelation 4:5 D&C 43:22) - The seven lamps (Revelation 4:5) - The seven stars (Revelation 1:16,20) - The seven Spirits (Revelation 1:4) - The seven pillars (Proverbs 9:1 Job 26:11) - The seven horns (Revelation 5:6) - The seven angels (Revelation 15:1,6-8 D&C 77:12) The seven eyes of the Lord (Revelation 5:6 Zechariah 3:9 Zechariah 4:10) The seventh of these prophets / angels is Michael who also presides. (D&C 88:112 D&C 107:94) The evil spirits who inspire modern music lyrics speak much of a battle that will take place at the end of the millennium wherein they once again will attempt to dethrone God. In this battle Satan gathers together his armies, even the hosts of hell. Michael the arch angel also gathers together his armies, even the hosts of heaven. In this battle the devil and his armies are defeated and cast out. (D&C 88:112-115) These evil spirits remember the love that existed in heaven and they desperately want to regain this love by returning. But something stands in their way, it is the the seven thunders and the hosts of heaven, led by the archangel Michael. This is why in this song they say - “All 7 and we’ll watch them fall They stand in the way of love And we will smoke them all” The only way for these fallen spirits to return to heaven is for them to “smoke” the seven thunders. Some of the seven thunders / prophets ended their mortal lives by becoming martyrs. This song speaks of this - “And in the distance six others will curse me But that’s alright For I will watch them fall One, two, three, four, five, six, seven” Be very careful what lyrics you sing along with. What are you saying when you sing along with - “All seven and we’ll watch them fall They stand in the way of love And we will smoke them all” Are you not joining in with the rejoicing of these evil spirits at the martyrdom of the prophets although unwittingly? This is one of the grand tricks of the adversary; to get the children of God, even righteous ones, to sing things that are very offensive to God. What are you singing along with? We see over and over again very talented people like Prince used by Lucifer to sing these siren songs to the world. Their lives are sad, tragic, and nothing to envy. Then when they have outlived their usefulness to Lucifer he destroys them. It is a sad and cruel cycle. “And thus we see the end of him who perverteth the ways of the Lord; and thus we see that the devil will not support his children at the last day, but doth speedily drag them down to hell.” Alma 30:60
