Big Dream, Little Wishes

I cant wait for the world to see

what I have in store for me

I cant wait to search and find

what I have inside my mind.

It's gonna take more than patience

Because it's built on higher motivations

Maybe I'll borrow your third eye

To reach high up into the sky.

A little flex here and a little stretch there

All our burdens we are made to wear

Everything's measured to the end

To ensure that we do not bend.

No time to stop and rewind

The past puts us in a bind

The only thing we have in control

Is it our mind, body and soul?

I make my own rules and plans

For me it's just about the dance

Even if it's just for the moment

I'd take it to escape this torment.

Found myself always hesitating

Spent my prime in waiting

As the doubt formed into a disease

I found myself more people to please.

Those wishes that were inside my head

Are now under the pile of regret

What mattered was what people would say

And in the blink of an eye, I gave it all away.

I know this makes little sense

Even my reflection said good riddance

You'd rather play silly games

When everything around you goes up in flames.

I still keep coming back to this juncture

As a reminder that not everything is over.

It helps me keep myself in ignition,

It's an internal battle I fight with myself every time I go back there.

A reckless battle, I'm not willing to let go. 

An internal debate I strive to win.

The answers I want are still in the grey, and I want it filtered out.

I seek my answers in the lost lands where I don't feel my toes.

I see my three best friends smiling at me. 

The heart, the head, the gut.

I extend my arm asking them to help me with this quest. 

They reason with me,  convince me to let it go,

It was an eye-opener for me. I did things that I had never done in my life. It helped me relax and unwind to new levels!
