[ Isaac was sitting on his bed, his eyes dazed as he stared at the clock on the wall. His room cold as ice, literally, icicle hanging from the ceiling. The window was frosted over as were the hardwood floors, it looked as if a ghost was residing in that room. Ice was even growing on Isaac with how long he had been sitting there for. He felt nothing at all, really. A small voice in his head the belittled him, he tried to ignore it. The knock he could not, he jumped hearing it. His hands began to shake after a moment of processing it. He slowly got up and walked out of his bedroom. ]

[ isaac stared down the dark rooms of his home, with gentle steps he made it to the door. All the curtains were shut tight. He stared at the door handle for a moment before looking through the peephole. His heart was all he could hear, how loudly it thumped against his ribcage. Upon seeing Don at the door, he calmed down ever so slightly. His eyes looked towards the door handle before gently grabbing it and twisting it, opening the door a crack and looking out through it. His mouth trembled slightly before he took a deep breath. ]

Hello?

Hello, Isaac. Mind if I come in?

" Is there something you came here for ? Is it because I took time off? "

I suppose you could say it is. I simply wanted to check in on you. From what you told me, you've been through.. quite a lot.

—Don's gaze saddened upon seeing the state Isaac was in. If he didn't know any better, he'd insult the man for letting himself go, for not taking care of himself, but after learning what happened he knew it was best to keep quiet.—

It does not matter. It will be fine. Would you like any?

[ he asked, raising the bottle. Looking towards Don. He gently picked up his glass, his hands trembling as he brought the glass to his lips, taking a small sip from the glass and setting it down on the counter his eyes glued to the red liquid. His mouth trembled for a moment before he looked away, his dull hair had fallen over his shoulders. His once golden hair, almost devoided of color. Dull and lifeless. What once was bright, now deads at rhe ends and needed to be cut. His eyes the same way, once a bright icy blue, was now a dull color. Lifeless eyes. ]

I should be back to work soon. No reason for me to stay here by myself, anymore.— ive. Its so lonely.

—Don refused the wine with good reason, his car was parked not too far. He'd made sure to not park it right in front of Isaac's house, he didn't want any sort of attention to be put on him or on his very much freezing colleague.—

—However the man did step closer, one of the fluffy rabbit ears that sat on his head gave a small flick. Annoyance, maybe? It was hard to tell due to the fedora darkening Don's face—

Look, if you feel ready to go back to work that's your call. But please remember to take care of yourself. Have you seen the state you are in?

Yeah? What state is that, Don?

[ he asked, slightly snapping as he turned towards him. He knew far well what state he was in, better than anyone else. He hadn't done his hair, he could barely clean himself now. Stuck in a world of fear because if he left the house who knows what would happen. He was alone. Sent his animals off with his friends, his husband off doing who knows what. He was alone. Just like before. His eyes glossing over with tears as he put the glass down. ]

You dont know what this has been like. Why are you even here. Dont you know this is probably dangerous?! You don't hear the creaking of metal do you? I hear it every time I'm alone. I know its out there— stalking— WAITING— Its not going to let me leave—

Well, no, I don't. But that doesn't mean I'm not able to see just how much it's affecting you.

—He tried to maintain his composure, to not act snappy, to not accidentally hurt or attack Isaac with his words. He knew he had to be careful with what he said to not worsen the situation—

Look, if you really do feel that unsafe you know I can just.. send someone over as some sort of coverage or protection. I can have constant surveillance set up for you, Isaac. But you can't let this just take a grip of your life. Look at yourself. You're still standing here, aren't you? Even if you're standing in fear, you're still here.

—He really was trying his best to ease the situation, keeping his voice low and calm.—

[ his voice trembled as he stared towards Don. He laughed a bit. Tears falling down his face as he shook his Head, his hand gripping at the roots of his hair before he moved his hand down to let go of his head. His expression falling dull as he stared towards the ground. His eyes tried. ]

It ripped my body in half. I should be dead. I dont know how im not. Ive come out with no wounds but the constant scar on my mind.

[ he mumbled, he didn't know about the robot, or the resurrection. He didn't know about any of it. Just like he didn't know where Chance was, Didn't know if Chance went looking for him or not. It Chance even missed him. His expression saddened before he looked away. Tears falling down his face. Shaking his head as his hand moved to his chest, clutching at his shirt. ]

I cant— cant.

You cant— protect me. If Chance finds out im working for you— if He finds out everything i— I'll lose him for real this time. As if I've not lost him now—

Then again. What difference would it make this time?

[ he asked letting out a small sob as he looked at his ring. A promise of forever. A promise to stay together but yet where was he now? He moved to look at his phone in his pocket. Chance should be here but hes not. The one time isaac needed him. He was gone. Isaac's dull eyes drifted to look at Don as he wiped away his tears. ]

..I'll get out of your hair now, I'll make sure I'm not seen around here by anyone but you, okay?

—Don then began to head towards the door, making sure to take a glance out of the window to make sure no one would see him—
