There is something incredibly sentimental about looking at your old art. I first got into IDV 6 years ago when I was a wee 14 year old, and it was a big source of inspiration. Idv was a pivotal part of my art journey, and that remains true 6 years later as I return during one of my worst art slumps. It gave me the motivation to draw, even after dropping out of uni and struggling with depression. So, it feel's especially sore to see it being taken over by ai. My old art may not have been perfect, but its better than anything ai can generate.
