SHINIGAMI

              "I do not take breaks, Sascha. I thought you knew that well." Even though an actual break would help him, the man was too stubborn and rigorous in order to leave his work half done. It was his own imposed rule, nothing would come first other than his work, it was his life now, and in order to achieve the greater rest, he needed to complete innumerable hours of strict work. 

Fixing his neat black necktie, the man took hold of the papers on his desk and began making his way out of his office;

             "Thank you for informing me of that fact." The man spoke with a tone of voice that appeared to be as cold as ice. His bright lime eyes not even parting ways from his book as the woman spoke to him.

Truth be told, it was actually nothing against her, it was rather...His own distrust towards anyone who dared step close to the fortress that was his very own spirit. After having been a shinigami for decades, the man was used to seeing people vanish away alongside their words like the wind that was currently moving the leaves around them. Words rarely did matter to him anymore, regardless of whom they may come from, the only thing that managed to occupy the shinigami´s mind was the arduous working hours he had ahead of him, nothing more, nothing less, a cold spirit that denied any sort of proximity to anyone, it was just him and his goal right now.

Flipping a few pages on his book, the man stared at the next person on his list. It was now time to continue with his monotonous and rigorous routine, thus he got up, ready to part ways, not only before stopping on his tracks, his back now facing her figure behind him.

       A raise of an eyebrow followed by the other´s statement as he naturally fixed his glasses over the bridge of his nose. The compliment did not even manage to shake his usual stern attitude, yet deep inside, it did make him quite wonder if the other had a shop that was in charge of making glasses or something related to it.

Closing his reports book, William proceeded to place it under his arm as he directed his full attention towards the stranger in front of him;
