Just in case anyone is confused….This story happened after Sam had been addicted to Dean’s demon blood. He tried to fight, so Sam cuffed himself in his own room, but Dean’t didn’t let him alone.

I just love the idea that Sam fights Demon Dean but at the same time he is addicted to him. The dynamic between them is twisted but sweet :p

It doesn’t feel like victory.

The flight was more like a tumble through the air. Castiel practically crashed in front of the entrance to the bunker.

But he didn’t pause to ponder on the scorching feel of the foreign grace somewhere inside Jimmy’s skin. He hurried into the bunker, flying, as soon as he passed the warded entrance.

He found him from the first try.

Slumped unconscious on the table, with alcohol-stained breath and still bloody face, Sam was oblivious to his entrance.

Castiel paused to stare at the human. At the human who managed to condemn and save the world once. And only one thought he never wants to associate with Sam Winchester came to his mind.

Broken.

Broken, fragile, human soul, that wept so loudly, that even Castiel’s fading grace resonated with its devastation, echoing with his own pain over the loss.

His hand found Sam’s forehead, and he bowed his head.

In other news, wOW I put a lot of effort into coloring this and I even attempted to pay attention to light sources, so I hope it looks okay!

I decided to go with a High School AU because nerd!Dean and popular-yet-socially-awkward!Cas give me life. (Dean secretly thinks Cas’ overly formal way of speaking is cute~)
