- Valko’s trailers are still up on X, the only platform that doesn’t allow archiving of posts.

- His discord has been archived, not deleted.

- The hunters notice messages from his live stream is still in the game.

- His world underneath chapter is still there.

- His song is still up on Spotify.

- Caleb’s version update for his release was split into two parts and he came in part 2. They could be doing the same thing with Valko.

- Infolds silence isn’t voluntary. There is no way. They are losing more revenue by the day, they have fallen dramatically in the charts, their reviews have been absolutely bombed and the update is glitchy as fuck. They’re editing content behind the scenes to meet the ccp’s expectations and it’s obvious they rushed the update because of it.

- on top of the ccp breathing down their necks they are still being violently targeted and threatened by deranged “fans.” They won’t say anything until they have their shit sorted and it’s safe to do so.

- I saw some leaks about his story and if they’re true he is way more important to this story than we thought. Erasing him isn’t just company suicide, in fact I have no words to describe how stupid it would be.

It's officially July 9th in China—aka, 6.0 version update day. We are waiting to hear from players on the Asia server. I will post something immediately when we do.

Earlier, I mentioned the size of the 6.0 update, but someone on X pointed something out. The size was estimate to be "between 3.2 to 7.9 gb." Do they have two versions of 6.0? One with Valko and one without?

Jesus christ. Good morning everyone 😭 Last night was a lot. Sorry if I freaked anyone out with my alert! I'll get into that in a moment. I will also answer everything in my inbox as soon as this goes up.

To be perfectly transparent with you all, I'm very nervous. But, I'm here to tell you exactly what we know. Everyone take a moment to breathe. Keep your pants on. Everything is okay.

AM Report 7/8/2026

The facts:

The 6.0 Version update is coming, no two ways about it. But, we have no idea what exactly it entails yet.

There will be a main story update, "The Shattered Quiet." See post here for visual.

From a user on X: "I noticed a small detail change in the Weibo customer service chat interface: previously, the entry for the official Love and Deepspace customer service had a note that said 'cancelling Ao Yin's launch,' but now that note about cancelling Ao Yin's launch has been removed, and the page now newly displays content about Love and Deepspace cancelling participation in the 2026 BW convention."

The 6.0 Version update is estimated to be about 7.9gb, requiring 27gb of storage to download. For reference, Sylus's 2.0 release was 3.7 gb. Caleb's 4.0 release was 3.3 gb. The FULL house feature in 5.0 was 5.3gb.

Cannot confirm:

7.9 gigs for a KITCHEN? I don't think so. I don't know for sure what's coming in that update, but I know for a fact that a mf KITCHEN isn't taking up 8 gigs.

There was an article allegedly posted by the China Ministry of Public Safety. Find link here. I cannot confirm if it is real. I have seen differing opinions on whether it is legit or not. As such, take it with a grain of salt. And remember that "rectifying" doesn't mean removing—it means correcting.

RUMOR: An alleged CN insider said that Valko will be returning. I cannot confirm or deny this. See post here.

My thoughts:

I know there's a lot going on right now, and Infold's silence is deafening, but let me try to give you a modicum of hope.

The size of the update. 7.9 gigs...yeah, ain't no way that's just for the kitchen.

Confirmed main story update. Raf and Xavier just got a main story update earlier this year, so we know it won't include them. Caleb and Sylus are next up, but the visual of this main story update doesn't fit either of them. To me, that looks like a no-hunt zone. "The real no hunt zone is up ahead. Do you dare follow?"

They already updated several things in the game (the WU stories, the Catch-22 outfits), and yet they kept everything pertaining to Valko. They kept "coming soon." That was on purpose—they could've gotten rid of it just as easily, and they didn't.

Here's what I think is going to happen: Valko's advertisements and voicelines will be changed to fit the demands of the government, and he will release as promised. We might see some changes in his story. I know it sucks, but Infold literally has to comply with the Chinese government. They can't fight them like Americans can fight our government, they can't take them to court and win—they follow the law, or their company goes under. That's just the truth of it.

For now, we wait on an official statement. They literally HAVE to say something today—the update is dropping in China. I'm expecting something this evening, so I will be keeping an eye out. For now, everyone stay calm, and take EVERYTHING with a grain of salt.

My midday report will cover more of what we've managed to achieve during this protest. For this one, I wanted to lay out what we know. As always, I'll update you as soon as I have more info! <3

For the record, I'm very optimistic about his return. I'm on the fence about whether his release will be delayed or not, though. It seems like Infold is dealing with a lot of external issues (rival companies, the media, antis, etc). Given that the police are involved now, I think the whole situation might cause them to delay the 6.0 version update. Fingers crossed that's not the case! But, I do think it's a realistic assumption.

Either way, I truly believe Valko will be coming back!
