//ships?
// I honestly donât have any ships for Devon because I donât really think sheâd be good in a relationship. I havenât really gotten to know any of the characters in this RP so I donât have much of an opinion either. So idk Devon/hookups is otp rn ok
Incoming @Devon
Cook figured Effy would be back at the flat by now. He had to make a few runs, drug runs. He needed to take a bit of time to actually find someone in the area. His usual guy was across town and he couldnât exactly take the truck at the moment. Cook rubbed his head and walked around the area outside. He pulled a pack from his jacket pocket, lucky Kale nicked about five for him to store for himself. Heâd hand one over to Effy. Cook stared at his phone, walking in a seemingly straight line staring at his phone. He had messaged everyone, beside Effy about the party, from the looks of it there would be a lot of gash and not enough lads around.
He stopped and messaged a few more people until his shoulder bumped into someone and he dipped back only slightly. Cook glanced backward with the unlit cigarette from his lips and glared. âOi⌠keep yer eyes up yah?â He pointed two fingers at his own set of eyes and at the girl that was glancing back. Cook hadnât seen her before, but something told him she knew where to get drugs around this area and fast. âUh..â he walked over slipping his phone in his pocket again, âSorry.. bit ofâa knobâead.. names Cook,â he pulled the unlit cigarette from his lips and put it behind his ear.
Devon slid her jacket on and stuffed her hands in her pocket; feeling a small bag filled with tiny pills inside. Letting a smile tug at her lips she nodded slightly as she left her empty flat. It was lonely and the only thing she had was bottles of alcohol and any drugs she could snatch. She wasnât much of a people person, though, so she didnât mind. As she left her flat, the blonde glanced at the empty sky that began to darken. She needed to get someplace quick to occupy her time before the night would end. There was plenty to do in Bristol so she was bound to find something to spark her interest. Maybe sheâd run into a few lads thatâd be interested in her new pills. Pushing the thoughts aside she decided to not put too much thought into the subject. The blonde chewed on her lip as she looked around; making her way down the streets of Bristol.
Stopping in her place; she thought she heard a noise coming from her phone. Devon pulled it out and glanced at it. No messages. No calls. No nothing. She really did need some new mates or something of that sort. As soon as the blonde glanced up to continue her walking, she was interrupted by a lad bumping into her. âOi⌠keep yer eyes up yah?â. âExcuse me, mate. Maybe you need to keep âer eyes open, yeah?â She narrowed her eyes at him. âNameâs DevonâŚpleasure.â She responded before pushing a blonde strand away from her face. âCan I help you, then? Or shall I jusâ get goinâ?â
The two had a small stare off. Cook tried to see if he recognized her from any instance. A shitty one night stand that he was too fucked to remember, or something different. He rubbed his chin and grinned devilishly. âNah.. donâ get goin,â he walked over sticking his hands in his pockets. âYou look a bit bored.. bored of this town yah?â He made sure the cigarette behind his ear wasnât falling. He glanced up at the girl again, she was slightly taller than him with her shoes but it didnât make him intimidated. âYunno Iâm hostinâ a parây down at the pubs. Flat parây fer me mate nâ all. Would be nice if we could score some fancy shit. Dunno where ta get it at this time though,â he shrugged effortlessly. Cook knew she would be able to help him out. She seemed like the lonely drifter type that needed alcohol to survive, basically him just two years ago. âIf you can âelp me out Iâll let youâave full rain on tha booze. I own the pub anyway,â he shrugged again.
Devon, he smirked at her and grabbed the cigarette finally. He couldnât show how at ease he was about this situation. Most people helped him when he turned on the charm or bribed them. This was a bit of both, and it would work. It always did. He lit the cigarette finally and Cook leaned back on the mailbox behind him. He needed a few things, powder, pills. Nothing lower than that. He was set on spliff for a lifetime basically. âSo Devon, mystery gal,â he shifted his weight and lifted his brows. âWanna come toâa parây?â
Devon was going to leave, but she was halted by Cookâs comments. âA bit? Iâm very bored of this damn place.â She admitted, letting out a small laugh. Raising an eyebrow, the blonde played with the pills in her pocket. âParty, eh?â Letting the statement sink in she simply nodded. âIf you can âelp me out Iâll let youâave full rain on tha booze. I own the pub anyway,â. The statement struck her attention. She was immediately interested. âOi, i think weâve got a deal, mate.â She told him with a smirk. âWhat would yaâ be interested in?â Crossing her arms across her chest she took a step back so she could examine the lad in front of her. He looked like a lot of fun. Not to mention he owned a pub.
Chewing on her lip, she glanced around the two as the sky was getting darker. âSo Devon, mystery gal,â She cocked an eyebrow waiting for his comment. âWanna come toâa parây?â âAye, what can I say? âCourse I do. Always in thaâ mood for a parây. Canât turn down thaâ offer.â Devon told him with a small smirk. Reaching into her pocket she pulled out the pills to show the boy. âIâve got this. I know where to get more if thatâs whatchaâ askinâ for.â She told him, shifting her weight slightly. The blonde took a few quick looks around her to make sure others werenât watching the two. She didnât want others asking her for what little she had at the moment, so she quickly stuffed the pills back into her pocket waiting for the boyâs reply. She was ready to get to that party already and enjoy her night with lots of dancing and all the booze she wanted.
âCanât turn down thaâ offer.â A sly look came across her face and Cook blew a comfortable amount of smoke out the other way. He watched the pills surround her hand in a small bundle and he arched his eyes to look over. They werenât recognizable to him but he didnât want her to know that. He had to keep it keen, play it cool, like he always did.. So much for staying out of trouble. He nodded. ââxactly what I need. Bitâo pills,â he grinned with his teeth sinking into the filter. âLead the way, girl,â he pointed with his cigarette cupped around his hand and she walked off, while Cook followed trotting along. Perfect. He always knew he could spot them when he needed a stash. âAll set with spliff, so much âarder shit. Fer me mate, since itâs âer birthday,â he nodded to himself.
Cook kept his hand fanned over the top of his cigarette to keep the wind from cashing it too early. He was familiar with the area, but still followed Devon reluctantly. He spit behind him and tossed his finished stick in the street while it spun and landed in a puddle near the gutter. âHow farâs this place? We gottaâead in the opposite direction ta get back to the pub. Whatâs yer flavor anyway? Whiskey, rum, straight vodka with a pinchâa fruity juice,â he chuckled, knowing it would possibly get a rise out of her. She seemed the type to hate to be messed with, especially when in an area where they shouldâve been quiet. Cookâs personality was too exotic for a quiet stint down the road.
âLead the way, girl,â âAll set with spliff, so much âarder shit. Fer me mate, since itâs âer birthday,â She nodded and kept her hands stuffed into her pocket. She wasnât one to give her stash out of strangers, she would much like to keep it all to herself, but then again she would get all the alcohol she liked in return for this favor. âBirthday, eh? Guess thisâll be a nice present, yeah?â Devon let out a small laugh and continued to walk. Taking her hands out of her pockets she crossed them across her chest as she looked over at Cook smoking his cigarette happily. How farâs this place? We gottaâead in the opposite direction ta get back to the pub.â âChrist, lad. Be patient. Weâre almost there.â She snapped as she quickened her pace. Only a few more moments and the two would would get whatever the boy needed and theyâd be on their way to Booze City. âWhatâs yer flavor anyway? Whiskey, rum, straight vodka with a pinchâa fruity juice,â Devon bit the inside of her lip, stopping herself from making a snarky comment. âJusâ stay quiet, mate, yeah?â She commented ignoring the questioning; she didnât want attention on the two.
After a few moments the two were at her destination. Giving a quick stare at Cook, the blonde narrowed her eyes. âYou stay âere. Itâll only take a few minutes. Jusâ. Stay. âere.â She told him, hoping heâd get the message. She knew he was the kind of guy that probably wasnât even capable of this but it didnât hurt to have some hope. Stuffing her hands into her pockets, she jogged over to the door of the building to get what she needed. It was where she got everything she needed. After a few quick minutes she stepped out of the building with some powder and a few more extra pills. Walking over to Cook, she cocked an eyebrow. â âereâs your stuff. Now lets get goinâ, yeah?â She told him; holding up the small bags filled with what he desired.
âStay, stay, yah, yah,â he waved his hand and pulled out another cigarette, assuming Devon would be taking too long for him to be patient. He figured sheâd just be getting pills again, no need for him to worry about powder. Pills could always be crushed. He impatiently looked around and tapped his foot, chopping on his filter like he had before. Then a door opened, foot steps sounded, and he grinned up at Devon. â âereâs your stuff. Now lets get goinâ, yeah?â He studied the bags in hand. Neat. âPowâda too?â He grinned, slipping the pieces in his inner pocket. âCheers babe,â he walked in front of her to lead the way. His head held high, wondering what powders and pills he could keep for himself and hand off to Effy. Though, the back of his mind always mirrored her recovery and how it was a terrible idea to even offer the substances to her. It was her birthday however, âPubâs close, youâll love tha drinks yah? Assuminâ all the shitâeads all showed them faces. Ugly cocks âround so donâ get to surprised when you donâ getta good cock in,â he chuckled and tossed his cigarette into the rubbish bin.
He glanced around, lost for a mere second until he saw the roof of the pub. âThere weâare,â he saw the lights on and a few bodies moving around the pub. Lucky he had Kristinaâs permission, or Keith would have his bollocks. He jogged happily up to the door and pulled the wooden piece open for Devon to waltz through. âAfter you maâm,â he tipped a fake hat to her and followed behind, touching her shoulder so she would be led to the bar. âKristina!â He sung and tapped his hand on the counter happily while the others that formed around him for the party howled along. âGet this gal a drink, anythinâ she asks fer yah? Make it strong.â He patted Devonâs shoulder and turned to lean his elbows on the counter behind him. He wanted to inspect the party. Music was yet to be decided on and the birthday girl was out of sight.
Devon laughed softly at the boyâs reaction to the substances she was able to get. She grinned as the boy led her to the pub. Now for booze city, and any other drink sheâd be interested in. This was the most interesting thing that had happened in a year. She hadnât been to a good pub in ages; so she was hoping this lad had what she wanted. âPubâs close, youâll love tha drinks yah? Assuminâ all the shitâeads all showed them faces. Ugly cocks âround so donâ get to surprised when you donâ getta good cock in,â The blonde nodded with a small chuckle. âIâll take what I can get.â She told him with a smirk as she continued to make her way down the street to the pub. Jitters and excitement filled her. The only alcohol she had at the house was shitty booze that one of her mates was able to lend her, and even that was already finished within a night. Reaching into her pocket she took a cigarette of her own and stuck it between her lips as she lit it, as Cook threw his away. Taking a hit, she looked over at Cook with a grin. âGood way to start off thaâ night, yeah?â She asked as they walked.
After a few moments of walking she noticed the lad see something. Looking in the same direction she saw the pub. Letting a smile tug at her lips she flicked her cigarette aside and quickened her pace to the place. âAfter you maâm,â She chuckled and made her way inside. The scent of alcohol and cigarettes, just like home, just a bit stronger smell. Glancing back at Cook she gave him a small nod. âGet this gal a drink, anythinâ she asks fer yah? Make it strong.â Sitting down she noticed a crowd around the two. Devon grinned as she leaned against the counter, chewing on her lip as she pondered on what she should get. âOi, surprise me.â She announced, not being able to decide what she even wanted. Turning her position to look at Cook, she waited for her surprise drink. âBest wishes to yaâ tonight, âave fun with thaâ stuff.â She told him, before turning back and getting handed her drink. Taking a sip, her nose wrinkled up. It was a different taste that sheâd have to get used to. But she liked it, so she took a long gulp with a grin.
Cook turned and ordered a rum and coke, with a bit of kick to it. Something stronger for the girl that had a smirk constantly playing at her lips. âBest wishes to yaâ tonight, âave fun with thaâ stuff.â He grinned ordering his own drink, a pint of course. âYah?â He grinned sipping his own drink while looking at Devon gulp at her drink. âYouâave fun yah? Tabs on me, right Kristina?â He winked at Kristina and patted Devonâs shoulder. The party was theirs and they would see each other again hopefully. âSee ya round,â he grinned walking around the crowd and to the stairs in back. Heâd have to find the main surprise, hopefully Connor too got the cake. Cook made it back toward the stairs and did one final wave to Devon from the few steps up before he disappeared in a crowd by the stairs.

Marry the Night- @Leo
Devon slid on her jacket and looked at her reflection in the mirror. She wasnât sure what she was checking for. It didnât necessarily matter how she looked, because by the end of the night all the clothes would be off and on the floor of a strangerâs house, or be drenched by the sweat of dancing strangers crammed together. Shrugging it off she pushed a strand of blonde hair behind her ear and made her way out of her room so she could see what awaits in Bristol for her. She was curious what Bristol had to offer for her tonight. She hoped this place hadnât gone boring over her year absence. Walking out of her house and sticking her keys in her pocket, Devon made her way over to the first party she could see. Lately it was getting lonely in her flat and she was pondering if she should go out and ask for a flat mate. She set the thought aside for another day. She needed to get away for another night. Her pace quickened as she got closer to her destination. Being in France she tried focusing on her photography, but now back in Bristol she was ready to get back to the excitement. She needed a break from the constant work anyways.
Making her way into the party, she let a smile tug at her lips. The music blasted throughout the house. Looking around her she made her way through the crowd to find a place to join in. After a few moments Devon glanced around her and began to join in and dance. This lasted a few moments until she felt someone crash into her back. This usually didnât affect her but now every little thing could tick her off. âBetter watch yourself mate, yeah?â She said angrily turning to look at the person.
After tying up some throwaway clothes in a bag, Leo took off for Connorâs flat and the party that seemed to be waiting inside. He figured Connor had sent a mass text to everyone in his mobile but the redhead was hoping there would be time for them to spark up a shag. The Notre Dame model was still sitting on the counter and had only gotten about 25% finished since Matty had attempted to help. Leo figured everything would go much more quickly once he blew off steam and a party with enough booze to rock a cruise seemed like the perfect remedy. The note he left for his parents was scrawled, vague and stuck on the fridge so it would be the first thing they noticed when they started making dinner. The trip to Fishponds flashed by and the next thing Leo knew he was surrounded with people touching him from all sides. âIs this the party?â A random shook her head before pointing at the familiar flat door nearly coming out of the hinges because of the force being pressed against it. Leo smirked at the thought of Connor dancing and decided to come in with as big of a personality as humanly possible.
The redhead threw his bag into a cabinet in the kitchen before examining where everyone was. He didnât recognize a single soul which made his committement to making an impression all the more important. If Leo was going to have a good time, heâd have to go the extra mile. Leo stepped near the gyrating group of people then felt himself slam into a blonde girl moving her hips. âBetter watch yourself mate, yeah?â He was simply about to walk away but was startled by the venom in her voice. âExcuse the fuck out of me, itâs a crowded place.â Leo raised his eyebrows and then narrowed his eyes to match the girlâs. âCalm down.â He was already anxious about being a place where he knew close to no one and now he had to deal with a screaming person in his face.
The blonde narrowed her eyes at the boy. She let her eyes roam over his structure. He looked like any other bloke in Bristol, but she wasnât going to let him get away. Tonight she was already heated up and he was the lucky man to push her over the edge. âCalm down.â She simply nodded and took a deep breath as she crossed her arms across her chest. Devon just wanted to enjoy her night; getting in a fight with a lad she just ran into was not a way to make her night enjoyable. Brushing a strand of hair out of her face she glared at him. âMy bad. Jusâ not my night.â She declared with a shrug. âBetter watch yourself, though, yeah?â She growled before turning away. Pushing her way through the crowd she went to find drinks to cool off. Before proceeding she turned back to look at the boy. âWant to join me, then? Iâll get you a drink as a peace offering.â She offered, not bothering to hear his answer as she continued to look for the drinks, knowing if he wanted to join her heâd end up trailing behind her sometime. She wouldnât be too hard to find. Devon was the only person here as far as she could see that was still desperately looking around for alcohol or some way to get fucked.
After a few long minutes of desperate looking around; she finally found a table with a few drinks. She wasnât sure what this table had on it, but she was sure it was some type of alcohol. Probably booze. Wrinkling up her nose she grabbed a cup and took a sip. Booze. Devon looked back into the crowd and saw no sign of the boy from before. She could find someone else to have drinks with anyways. This party was filled with desperate people looking for a good night. Devon took another sip of her drink and shut her eyes to continue to move to the music. This is what she craved all week. To let go and just enjoy herself. Hearing a few footsteps she opened her eyes again, slightly annoyed that she kept getting interrupted. The blonde noticed the lad from before emerge through the crowd. âMystery boy, I see youâve finally decided to show up. Got a name, then?â She asked him curiously as she took a few steps back to grab him a drink. This was a rare occasion that she was nice to people, especially people that ticked her off.
âWant to join me, then? Iâll get you a drink as a peace offering.â Leo shrugged his shoulders and watched as the girl took off in the direction of the free alcohol. He wanted to latch on to somebody, but her? Sheâd just threatened his existence before then making an apology. The redhead stood up on his toes to do a sweep for Connor then finally decided to go ahead and take a few shots. There was no harm in making a mate or a frenemy before the night was over. He pushed past the group of people flailing drunkenly, unable to do much but gyrate through bodies practically glued together.Leo couldnât tell this was a birthday bash but he figured the girl was enjoying the amount of alcohol sloshing around on her floor. He found the blonde from earlier leaning against a surface with a drink in her hand. âMystery boy, I see youâve finally decided to show up. Got a name, then?â Leo accepted the drink she offered and downed it two gulps. âI like the name mystery boy though, do I really have to change?â His lip lifted up in a smirk as he reached around the girl to grab another cup.
Leo figured that the odds of him finding a hookup were low, mostly because he didnât feel that confident tonight. Moods like this hit him after an incident or two involving his eyes or his mother was too obviously flaunting her status as Mr. Suttonâs mistress. âWhatâs your name? I want to take a guess. Yvette? Maybe Elia?â Leo furrowed his eyebrows together before pointing two fingers at the girl. âMonica.â He laughed after a moment and then watched people stumbling around.the pair holding the drinks. âIâm Leo.â
âI like the name mystery boy though, do I really have to change?â Hearing his comment put a smirk on her face, and it appeared it put one on his face too. She chuckled before taking another sip of her drink. âAye, itâs a bit of a mouthful, donât chaâ think?â She added, letting a smile tug at her lips. Devonâs eyes roamed the boy again. She wasnât sure what to think of him. He didnât look like much trouble at all, but then again this was only by looks. If it was something she learned in her childhood, it was not to judge a book by its over. Pushing it aside she sunk her weight into her left hip as she glanced around her. She was used to the pounding music by now and she was ready to go out and join the other drunken people in dance. The blonde swayed slightly to the music again as she took another small sip of her drink; smelling the slight smell of alcohol on her breath.
Watching the red head attempt to guess her name made her laugh softly. âWhatâs your name? I want to take a guess. Yvette? Maybe Elia?â She grinned. âMonica.â. Shaking her head, Devon let out another laugh. âSorry Mystery Boy, but wrong. Iâm Devon.â She told him, brushing a blonde strand away from her face again. âLeo, eh? Oi, I wouldâve guessed somethinâ like Harry or some shit like that.â She told him with a small shrug. Turning her attention back to the dance floor, Devon finished her drink before setting it down on the table. âWant to go and dance, then?â She asked him curiously, grabbing another cup and walking back into the crowd hoping heâd trail behind. He wasnât that bad after all. As long as the bloke didnât push her again, theyâd be fine. The teen laughed softly, if the two continued this, Leo would be following her around all night. Devon was almost like a child. Her attention went from one thing to the other. Going back into the crowd she took a sip of her new drink and began to dance with a grin. This was a good night and she wasnât going to let another prick get on her bad side. She was just going to enjoy what was going on and block everyone out, unless Leo joined her of course. She wasnât sure what was in store for them, but at least the two werenât vile with each other. He was lucky she was trying to have a good night and not get on everyoneâs bad side.
âHarry? My hair doesnât make me the prince, yeah?â Leo smirked as he finished the second cup. The alcohol had already begun tasting like water, a bad sign for the night ahead if Leo didnât get pulled away from the free flowing drink. âWant to go and dance, then?â Even though Leo didnât need to be asked twice to do something other than look like a wallflower, Devon darted into the ground like a wave of light. He had to push past a drunken couple who were pinned against the wall and another couple that was loudly making jokes about the everyone else grinding near them. Leo finally spotted the blonde dancing in the middle of a group then discreetly made his way across to join in. âHey, still up for a dance?â His smiles was big and genuine, at the very least he didnât look desperate to know where Connor was. Leo eyed the crowd for any other potential hookups before sighing in defeat. Every party carried its number of boys willing to shag, but the last thing the redhead felt like doing was scoping any of them out on his own.
His hips came closer to Devonâs, neither person caring that a group was starting to form around their moving bodies. Leo continued to search for people hanging out to the sides until he finally got inspired to look at the girl who was yelling at him only a few minutes ago. âWhy the change of heart, Devon? My sexy exterior?â He laughed into her ear then pulled back to lick his lips.Â
âHey, still up for a dance?â She chuckled with a large smirk. "Aye, I'm always up for a dance." She told him with a chuckle as she moved closer to him so the two could dance. The music boomed and pounded around them. Dancing and drinking was a way to spend the night. Shutting her eyes she continued to move to the music, a grin planted on her face. She wasn't sure why she was dancing with the boy she had just almost picked a fight with, she wasn't even sure if she liked him or not. But it seemed he had forgiven and forgot, and she needed a drinking buddy and a dance partner; and it seemed Leo was up for the part. âWhy the change of heart, Devon? My sexy exterior?â She laughed. "Don't flatter yourself. It's my way of apologizing for earlier." She told him with a shrug before laughing again and continuing to move her body with his'. "You ain't that bad after all, lad." She finally told him over the music as she laughed softly. It was the truth. "Jus' watch where you're goin' next time, yeah?" She told him, narrowing her eyes at the red head.Â
After a few long minutes of dancing and laughing, Devon began to grow bored. She needed something to make this night more exciting. "Hey, do ya' know if they got stuff 'ere. Like pills and shit?" She asked him curiously. "Or some better tastin' alcohol or whatever." She asked, cocking an eyebrow. Devon would begin reconsidering Bristol if they didn't have pills or quality alcohol at these parties anymore. A lot could change in a year she assumed.

Devon laughed softly at the boy's reaction to the substances she was able to get. She grinned as the boy led her to the pub. Now for booze city, and any other drink she'd be interested in. This was the most interesting thing that had happened in a year. She hadn't been to a good pub in ages; so she was hoping this lad had what she wanted. âPubâs close, youâll love tha drinks yah? Assuminâ all the shitâeads all showed them faces. Ugly cocks âround so donâ get to surprised when you donâ getta good cock in,â The blonde nodded with a small chuckle. "I'll take what I can get." She told him with a smirk as she continued to make her way down the street to the pub. "Good way to start off tha' night, yeah?" She asked as they walked.
"Oi, surprise me." She announced, not being able to decide what she even wanted. Turning her position to look at Cook, she waited for her surprise drink. "Best wishes to ya' tonight, 'ave fun with tha' stuff." She told him, before turning back and getting handed her drink. Taking a sip, her nose wrinkled up. It was a different taste that she'd have to get used to. But she liked it, so she took a long gulp with a grin.
Yeah?
"Aye, it's a bit of a mouthful, don't cha' think?" She added, letting a smile tug at her lips. Devon's eyes roamed the boy again. She wasn't sure what to think of him. He didn't look like much trouble at all, but then again this was only by looks.
"Sorry Mystery Boy, but wrong. I'm Devon." She told him, brushing a blonde strand away from her face again. "Leo, eh? Oi, I would've guessed somethin' like Harry or some shit like that." She told him with a small shrug. Turning her attention back to the dance floor, Devon finished her drink before setting it down on the table. "Want to go and dance, then?" She asked him curiously, grabbing another cup and walking back into the crowd hoping he'd trail behind. He wasn't that bad after all. As long as the bloke didn't push her again, they'd be fine. The teen laughed softly, if the two continued this, Leo would be following her around all night. Devon was almost like a child. Her attention went from one thing to the other. Going back into the crowd she took a sip of her new drink and began to dance with a grin. This was a good night and she wasn't going to let another prick get on her bad side. She was just going to enjoy what was going on and block everyone out, unless Leo joined her of course. She wasn't sure what was in store for them, but at least the two weren't vile with each other. He was lucky she was trying to have a good night and not get on everyone's bad side.
