Oh magic mirror plugged into the wall: Who is the fairest, the fairest of all? Don’t show my fears or content obscene Mirror o’ mirror My glowing white screen.

Ugly and warted. Bulbous and fat. Proboscis protruding the size of a rat. Poison red apples less rotten than us. Reflection’s heroic: I am villainous.

Oh magic mirror, unplugged from the wall: Please make me famous, beloved by all. Don’t wanna hear or see any doubts Mirror o’ mirror I can’t live without

You stole our music Played and tuned it Another fool’s hit Then you lose it You try to talk about it all (Tell us what we “need”)

Whether or not We can weather this weather And whether you sought To find the true answer Doesn’t matter (We no longer take heed)

We’ve fought one another Brother ‘gainst brother You got us tripped up All over each other But that ends now (It is guaranteed)

Cause you have used us Viewed as tools, yes Words won’t move us With the abuses Don’t try to justify hate now (While calling us “extreme”)

Didn’t even know you were tryna control me I was confused, didn’t know I was used. Wish someone told me that when you scold me The pain that I feel is actually real.

Bullshit That’s not it You know what? I’m hot shit I thought you’d‘ve Fought it Instead you just Forfeit -ed to the voice in your head Threw fits not fists Now you wish you were dead. But you staying alive Cause you lost your drive So you cut Cut Cut Til your veins run dry. That’s not my fault How am I to blame? I don’t tighten the noose When you hear that name. You tie it by yourself Then you pull it tight- Not on me that you wanna die every night.

I may be lost but I haven’t lost Yet I keep on going just to show That I’m what matters and I know It Won’t stop me, turned me a poet. I lost to a voice in my head Yet I’m still here fightin? Every lie that you’ve said I’ve got in writin. More to say? I’ll grab a bottle of ink and lightnin. Here to stay? Pen your lies with a noose that snaps when tightened

Yo you never forgeta To make us rememba: The thoughts The feel The blade The scars The harm The screams The stairs The stars Our demon and deva Tormented togetha. Gonna ask again, uh, “Will we do this foreva?”

I know you're not answering That’s not your style; You prefer to drop locked talks like hot rocks that’re vile. But I’ll say one thing- Don’t knock keeping tabs for a while. Got a bell to ring. Never forgot how bad you are, child. Need someone to remind you? Cause I will: The thoughts The feel The blade The scars The harm The screams The stairs The stars All of your tools, You mastered your trade. But who’s the fool When lasting progress is made? Stab my mind in a duel, Traumatize me in a raid, But you’re not fit to rule; You’re fast to fade

I am tired The lead that fills my limbs The remarkable weight of my eyelashes The slow petrification of my insides Leaves little room for blooms of language My words are tired They have been pulled from the aether                                                          Made to march With such frequency that their knees do not lift They merely trudge through the well-worn grooves in my throat Repetition was never my favorite device It always reminded me of skipping CDs Scratched and worn out Tired Stuck Screaming And met with nothing but annoyance I am tired But leaden limbs are ammunition And sparks of fire can be coaxed from stone My words are tired But grooves make for ease of access And the path can always be widened and connected to others

Repetition never was my favorite device But scratches catch the light I am tired But I will keep spinning I will keep skipping Screaming Until they fix the player

I know our words have dried all up, Draining in the ground. I know that we don’t write enough, No stories can be found. But even if the world is rough: We’re creative; Our hearts are tough. As the World is Coming Down Our passions can be found

Don’t fear the jump When you can fly It’s not enough To make you die Though times are rough So I’ll ask why If you’re so tough Why do you cry?

Times are changing Really fast And all your planning Will not last Until you’re learning From the past That you’re a person Not of a caste.

That means you are Responsible In so far That you behold The burning char And frigid cold Of all your scars All alone.

Let me be clear: You’re small in scope, Drowning in fear And without rope. The future’s near, It’s hard to cope, But you’re still here So there’s still hope

Here we are, after 100 posts, over 1.3k followers, and nearly three years. Well, 101 posts now. Happy Pride Month! I hope all of you are being excellent to one another, whether you identify as a more recognized label such as LGBT or you're from somewhere in the Q+; we get enough grief from outside the community, we might as well treat each other well.

This is a reminder that our asks and submissions are open, whether you want us to post a poem for you or you just have a question you want to ask. We know we aren't too active of an account, but if the interest is there we'll definitely be down to engage with it. Also let us know if you're interested in prose and short stories, readings of our poems, art, or even just more of our personalities coming through. We really just post poems here, but if you are interested in more then tell us and we will deliver. We don’t want to shift the focus of this account without your input, so let us know what you’re looking for!

Red is for the blood of those Gentle souls that died Waiting for the world to change So they could have pride

Orange is for the firelight Reaching to the sky. Down below they say we’ll go Cause we dared have pride

Yellow’s for the bellies of Our corporate allies. Soon as June will come and go So will go their pride

Green is for the faces of Folks that are denied Love and homes and medicine As the price for pride

Blue is for the tears of us, Living ones that cried. We wipe our cheeks every night To paint our face with pride

Purple’s for the robes of those Ruling from on high, Stomping skulls and counting bills As they say “Have Pride!”

I set out on an odyssey, Leaving behind the greatest adventure I’ve ever known Only to find myself embarked on one that would define me.

Wearing anonymity as a shield, I avoid the cyclopean eye above That seeks to feast on my dreams. I hide behind a shroud of pretense, Unknown to most but known to those Who have sailed by my side.

Nobody’s hubris persists centuries after death, Cursing my name as I fall from grace. Nobody’s hubris but mine

Adrenaline, hit me up. Getting high’s not enough.

Need it now? Need it fast? I don’t care if it lasts.

Adrenaline, I need you. What’ll I ask you to do?

Give some life, more of it. Just a hit. Just a bit.

Adrenaline, please come back. I will do any task.

I am still terrified. Trembling. Eyes are wide.

Adrenaline, my savior. I’ll change my behavior.

Never let go The dreams of the past. Forever. I know These beams will not last.

The roof will fall down And I’ll spatter in red; I’ll be a fool in the ground That’s better off dead.

I’ve been crushed before Yet I’ve always been healed. My heart touched and adored, But those times felt unreal.

In this place I now pray, Neither to Gods nor to men, As I ache through the days Until it falls down again

Don’t trust your friends, Disrespect authority, And open up your mind’s eye.

Know that all things end, Reject empathy, And make sure you never cry.

You will never be successful At being successful Unless you sacrifice everything to try.

You don’t need friends, Listen to me, All they do is lie.

You don’t need them, I’ll set you free, But I’ll make you want to die

With survival of the fittest, Revival of the hit lists, Can’t project which lives are wrecked until the hammer comes Down.

Every single person Is said to be worse than The filth that they came from, no way to to save ‘em, not from going

Down.

From dawn to dusk, From Bezos to Musk, Rich people cheer that the villains here are going

Can’t keep up Can’t stop now Starting a revolution When the pretty people pick upon potential cons, can conniving caricatures of snakes supply a solution?

Can’t keep up Can’t stop now Words on deaf ears Have you never known not-nice nobodies, anybody at all antagonistic against fellow folks full of futile fears?

Can’t keep up Can’t stop now I’m running out of time The wishy-washy way of the world is leftover legacies of long-forgotten larcenists, is it incorrect if irritable I wants to make mine?

Can’t keep up Can’t stop now Running on broken feet What’s the point of playing silly games if they’re expectations that I can’t meet?

Sunny days Pass aways As I lie upon my bed

A fog is creeping in Like thoughts in my head

The world’s a haze My mind’s a daze Everything goes red

The fog is rolling in Now the sunny days are dead

You can run but you can’t hide- Poison’s already inside. Pick up battles you can’t fight To create your own light.

Peace and comfort never known, And the love that you’ve been shown, Crumble down and die alone When wicks becomes disowned.

It’s now or never, do not fear; The darkness is drawing near. If they find your fire here Will it warm or will it sear?

Live your life like you can fly Because, well, you’re gonna die. Light the world and light the sky; Melt that wax until you’re dry
