May as well share another late-night doodle from last night: Aquila guiding Madeleine somewhere.

This made me giggle a little, considering the fact that Quill's scenario is a little different than Kyle's.

It's Jeanette who has a crush on Aquila, but the latter is painfully oblivious to her feelings (at least for the time being).

"Qu-Quill?" came Madeleine's timid voice as she tightened her grip on her sister's arm. "What's going to happen now?"

Aquila wished she had an answer. She really did. But she felt her throat constrict tightly, leaving her unable to formulate a single sentence. All she could do was stare at the greying horizon.

Her heart thudded in her chest as she held Madeleine closer to her, reality dawning upon her.

The sisters were in enemy territory now. In the Berman Republic. Unarmed and afraid...but determined all the same.

Aquila knew that their mission would be risky -- deadly, even. But she also knew that they had to try, even at the cost of their lives.

No matter what happened, they could not let the most fanatical followers of the late Leber Kaiser from resurrecting Berman into the empire it once was!

And they could not let them instigate another war with their beloved home country of Gasco!

...So, I'm back on my bullshit. And with a premise for my girls this time. In a nutshell, Aquila (cream Felineko) and Madeleine (blue-grey Felineko) discover a plot by some people who were still loyal to the late Leber Kaiser to resurrect the Berman Republic into the empire it used to be, and set off on a journey to Berman to foil that plot. And along the way, they more or less help a few folks with their problems, mostly by pure accident. But most of all, they also end up discovering some dark secrets behind their parents' legacy, and must decide what to do with those secrets: do they keep moving forward, or will they end up repeating the same mistakes from before?

I'm pretty certain that Wappa has done this at least once before.
