Do I Accept Asks?

Yes, this blog accepts asks as well! Sometimes I answer asks with characters I’ve yet to do anything with and wish to explore a little bit. However for the most part I answers asks as a Mod! So any asks you send are more likely to be answered by me, the person. The artist, not a character.

Because surprise surprise, I’m real. Bummer, right?

I know last thing I need is another blog lol, but I dunno... I've been itching for a collab one, but can't seem to figure out a good theme I'd like to do. But the Doctor blog (You guys might've seen the character it'd follow already) has one of my favourite characters.

And the Royal one just seems pretty straightforward to me.

It doesn't mean I'll stop @ask-the-mirror-artisan though, and my other blogs are currently in hiatus. But I might actually fully archive a few of the ones I have... @sweet-broken-fairytale would stay, as would @the-endless-archive, but some of my other blogs would probably finally be Archived as I don't think I'll get to them.

This is also me thinking out loud, not necessarily me asking for opinions on which one I should or shouldn't make.

Okay so this is me being nitpicky here, but: Keep in mind, what I do isn't Game Design. I work alongside Game Designers though! What I do is work in Game Development. To the outside it might seem like a small detail, but to me it can confuse me at times.

Think of it in the way of; My work is called "Game Development" where one role is "Game Designer". When people call it "Game Design" it confuses me because I don't always know if they mean the specialization or the work lol

But ANYWAYS less about me being nitpicky!

Your ask is less about that and more about what art assets and so on I've made, no? Well- Not as much as I'd like! Been a lot of researching and such as we're currently working in Unreal Engine.

These are two assets I've made for this specific project! The first two are VFX that can be adjusted in the scene to fit. And the second one is a UI assets for the Player's screen!

Definitely seeing it come to life! I myself don't really know much about game design specifically (That's actually a specialization of its own, not one Im in!)

But to me, what I adore is when you see things begin to take shape. It is a lot of planning and teamwork, but many of the Designers we have are really good at sussing out what works and doesn't. And we have several really good programmers that can make that come to life!

So, been a bit busy as of late, hence no art whatsoever =.= Been stressing, and tonight's bound to be a long night.

So for those unaware, I study Game Development! Specifically I'm aiming to become a VFX Artist (Visual Effects), think the one making the particles that happens when a character runs, the magic spells they cast, so on. But I'm also learning how to rig (Rigging is when you create a skeleton for a character that tells it how it can move) and Animation.

Currently we're doing a project where we've gathered in groups to all make a game together! And it is for some weeks yet. Sadly I'm the only one from my discipline in this group and thus... ugh. I need to do the rigging of the character lol

It is a lot to think about and my ADHD is kinda going nuts over it. (In an overwhelmed way)

I am considering streaming, but dunno if I will. Especially as I'll need to listen to a lot of tutorials.

A comic I've seen around but not gotten around to reading... It looks so fun though, and the artstyle is just... Gorgeous! I myself am not necessarily the best at reading comics nowadays, my focus is... So bad. But I'd highly recommend catching it for those who haven't read it!

Decided to draw Scavenger, because he's a character given to me by a friend- Out of the blue. Because I named him, hahaha xD Anyways, I'll revisit his design at some point, this is more just me experimenting with... How I even draw in a Sonic style to begin with. But have a first draft of Scavenger!

Also he is supposed to have a second arm, I just... Couldnt be bothered drawing it with the scarf. Even tho the scarf isn't long enough to have covered it- AH WELL

Finally getting around to these requests, and why not start off with a Faerie! I still haven't fully settled on what they're like in my world... But so far it is mostly a case of pretty sparkly wings and cloven hooves. And they can have horns of different variety.

So have my take on flutters as a Faerie! I also tried out some other stuff for the fun of it while drawing.
