This blog I have right now, I'm tired of but I haven't the heart to delete it.

Okay.  I guess I'll actually use my Tumblr again.  

It amazes me how much ignorance I see on my dash on a daily basis. Why do people attack others, completely unprovoked? I’m trying not to generalize here, but a large percentage of the unprovoked hating I see comes from kids in the 14-16 age range (I’m not saying people my age don’t act immaturely and hateful without being provoked, I’m just saying this is what I’ve noticed.) When I was 13-16 I was outside playing manhunt with my friends, sneaking into R-Rated movies, and dealing with drama from the people I saw face to face on a daily basis. Not using the internet to release my teen angst and attack complete strangers for no real reason. What the fuck happened? I’m not much older, but I feel like the age gap is so much wider than it’s supposed to be. If you’re still going through puberty, you shouldn’t be allowed to have unrestricted internet access. I know it feels like you know everything and you’re entitled to say whatever the fuck you want, but there’s a difference between having an opinion and the horse-shit I see. And, let’s be honest, 99% of the time, if somebody is insulted by a person they don’t know - it’s usually a load of bullshit. I know that. I know that if somebody doesn’t personally know me, they really have no say. I know what kind of person I am, and so do the people I love, and that’s all that matters. But there are a lot of people online, both younger and older, that take the petty bullshit to heart. That’s right. The anonymous hate made for laughs yesterday or a month ago - the hater won’t remember, but his/her target seldom forgets. I don’t know if people have just lost their sense of what’s right and wrong or if all the hate is some sort of retribution for being bullied themselves, but I think it’s bullshit and I’m sick of seeing it happen to the people I follow and my followers every single day. Yeah, I’m clearly annoyed. I don’t make posts like this often, I just don’t feel comfortable sitting around and not saying anything when maybe I could make a difference. I just want whoever reads this to know that in a few years, none of this will matter; whether you’re the one who was hating or the one who was hated on. If you don’t know somebody, think twice and bite your tongue (or in this new day and age, your fingers) before you say something that could potentially destroy another person. If people say malicious things to you and you know you don’t deserve it, fuck them. I know some words cut deep, but those scars should be reserved for the people who have taken the time to get to know who you really are - not the ones who hide behind a computer screen a few states away and know nothing about you. If you’re reading this, you don’t need me to tell you don’t deserve the hate.
