See you there!! ๐๐๐ท๐ @chrisbrownless and @greatrock are dedicating the 25th of July to a friend of ours who unfortunately had an accident one year ago which left him paralysed from the waste down and will live the rest of his life in a wheelchair. Steve aka @shakeyakey was an avid mountain biker and NWBC client and seeing him in such a life changing situation has made myself and Ed realise that we have the perfect platform to do something to make a difference. It could have quite easily been any one of us in this situation and I'd like to know that if something like this ever happened to me there would be people there to look out for me. Steve is struggling to get himself a single level home kitted out to allow him to enjoy his own home so we want to be able to contribute to get him in a better situation a little faster. Myself and @joshuarse_ will be doing haircuts all day from 10pm to 6pm and all takings will be donated to the Shakeyakey just giving campaign. Ed is hosting a guided ride around Hebden Bridge (great-rock.co.uk for details) and will be donating all takings from that. We then invite everyone to a gathering at the barbershop where we will have free drinks, music loud enough to annoy the neighbours and a charity auction, as well as some giveaways. The barbers will take a short break at 6pm to eat then haircuts will continue for the entire evening until there is no more hair to cut. To help us raise as much as we can, get yourself booked in for a cut on July 25th, every penny of your haircut payment will be donated. Walk-up haircuts will be available all night and all clients who get a cut on the day will receive some products donated by the UK @uppercutdeluxe suppliers. We have built a community at NWBC and it is time for us to all come together to make a difference and try and change a good man's life for the better and have a bloody good time while we do so.
