It doesn’t take long for the day to change, and for new challenges to present themselves…. I am making the challenges that I face to be limited, to be certain type, to be what I want them to be.

What I mean is, it is clear that I am really just doing what needs to be done.

Well, I just did a little bit of woark trying to get into the mind of myself and ficgurign out how to go about doing…

Well, I failed.

But I think I failed forward.

I tried to give up digital writing and processing for a week, and I quit after day two.

It is clear to me that the best way to make a living as a writer is to write on the computer and publish the writing, as opposed to writing in the paper journal.

The paper journal still has its purpose and will be used, but the bulk of the writing…

Feeling a lot of negative emotions right now, and I want to change that. The first thing I need to do is take responsibility for how I feel, and the fact that I feel this way. It was through my own speech and actions that these emotions came on.

Anyway, I will have to resolve the issue and push past it. It is another obstacle or hurdle in my development. I suppose it is how I react to this and…

Music and habits and goals

Well, I went an played an open mic last night. It was spotty at best, but at least I did it. I can’t expect to be back where I once was without putting the time and effort in.

The question then is, “do I want to put in the time?”

Perhaps for playing music, the answer may be “no” for right now… It is very enjoyable for me to play music and perform for people, but it doesn’t ultimately get…

There is a lot of interesting things to think about tonight, but the most interesting thing to me, at this time, is focus. Learning how to exclude extraneous information and focus completely on what is the most important thing to focus on. That is the greatest experience… Thinking that there is something toward which I can focus at any given time… And it is possible, that there is a lot of time…

Have I been missing the point?

I stated before, many many times in my online and analog journals, that health, wealth, and happiness were my goals… Happiness being defined as doing those things I actually enjoy doing, mostly creative things, writing, sketching, playing music, reading, etc.

But now that I am thinking about it from a goals perspective, it does not seem to be as true, that…

One of the side effects of deciding to write in here all the time, is that there will be multiple posts per day, because I tend to write lots of words, all the tie, and now it is easy to do so, given the opportunity with the phone and the computer around me all the time.
