Your Reckoning

//I know I owe several replies and haven’t posted in a little over a week, but I’ve been struggling a lot with some personal issues. I should (hopefully) be able to get online properly at some point this weekend, but I’m not going to make any promises. Again, I’m sorry replies are taking so long, and I appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding

I’m off to work for the next five hours, but if anyone would like a starter, please like/reblog this post. I’ll message you (or you can message me) to determine a verse, and I’ll try to get these up either tonight or tomorrow.

Lilith flinched away from him, a subconscious act. Even having been brought up among the living, she still felt more comfortable with the dead she summoned. “Does it even matter what I want? No one ever asks...no one ever cares...so why should it matter what I want?”

“Someone like you?” Lilith repeated, an edge to her voice. “Do you mean innocent, or weak? Because both are rather relative terms.”

Lilith had to fight the urge to dissolve at her father's name, to cling to the facade she'd worn since day one. "And Persephone's," she replied simply, keeping it short. After a drawn out silence, curiosity finally won over. “Have you ever met my father? Can you tell me anything about him? How he’s doing? Does he ever wonder about me? Anything?”

Replies will hopefully be coming out tomorrow. It's been a busy week at home, but I should have some time after work to get to my drafts.
