Xylocs is a collective of everything 'childish' about me, something I despised in myself at the time of her creation (6th-7th grade). She's capricious, easily hysterical, vindictive and bratty. What's funny is, even when I created her, I masked most of these features, but I wanted to do and say the things that Xylocs allows herself to do when I draw her. (Most of which is unpublished or in my channel bc it's traditional sketches)

Her design perfectly demonstrates the attitude I had towards these features.

Her face, although stylized, depicts hysteria: her eyes are acute-angled triangles, looking mostly downwards, as if crying; her mouth is strongly wavy, as if depicting trembling lips. And the most straightforward detail is the hat with 'dum dum' written on it. The rest of the design complements the head, giving it an angular yet feminine look. It's worth noting her pallet of two colours — white and dark blue. They were chosen for two reasons: first, it was easy to draw during class/break time; second, dark blue is my favorite color and just 'blue' is used to mean 'sad'.

What's with the name?

Why she's Xylocs? I don't know if this word has a meaning; I made it up by choosing letters that sounded sharp. Interestingly, I chose Xylocs, not Xylox or Xyloks, purely because of the look when it's written down, although I think it spells the same way. At the moment, she doesn't belong to any universe, she's just drawn in conjunction with me or the characters that I post here.

So... Current story?

There is none. She doesn't have a world, doesn't have anything but being the childish parts of me combined. She wouldn't fit into the world that most of characters from here are from, so for now... There's nothing but her humanisation (AKA how I as a child looked like but as 18 years old in her clothes.)
