tldr: they go on separate dates, only to realize they actually only want each other

guys i’m not gonna lie. pdeardz interacting possessed me to write this filth. (married dr. langdon uses his position to “teach” mel dirty things)

anyways hear me out: mel and frank on separate dates with other people bc everyone keeps telling them they should “get out there” and they are so blindly infatuated with each other but they just don’t Know that being together is even an option.

anyways they are at the same bar/restaurant and suddenly someone is choking and a bystander calls out for a doctor and both frank and mel leave their respective dates to run over and help, only then realizing that the other person is there in the heat of the moment. after the disaster is averted and they find out that they’re both on dates, they can’t stop looking at each other from across the bar/restaurant longingly the whole rest of the night.

and then eventually, frank gets so jealous of either mel’s date or someone else being weird to her that he gets into an altercation of sorts and he obviously doesn’t fight back bc he’s therapized now. his date is like bro wtf i’m leaving and mel leaves HER date to take frank home with her to patch him up. some nightingale syndrome for you all ❤️ and then they obviously have sex because i can’t not write smut

i caved and wrote a fic about mel and frank arguing at work because the idea has consumed my every waking thought
