Sun shower on a June afternoon. The rain only lasted about 10 minutes or so, but during that time, the birds were still singing and the bumblebees still working

Continuing writing with the flex nib fountain pen filled with Iroshizuku Yama-Budo ink. At this point, I've diluted the ink three times (every time it's out, I just fill the convertor with water) and as it gets lighter, the shading becomes more prominent.

Finally got around to finishing up four new Hawthorn the Adventurer colorways 🎨. The painted patterns on their coats are little hawthorn leaves and berries 🍂🫐. The other two are a pearly/sparkly vinyl.

Love this Ink Institute Electric Blue Spider Lily with all the blue/purple variations

Practicing different types of spacing/angles and this upright/tight one reminded me of those retro 1950s ads 😆

Hawthorn offers a cup of tea (or soup?) to the Berry Adventurers' predecessor, Grogu 😆

Hawthorn's design originally started off as a Grogu sculpt in 2022 that gradually morphed into what it is today, branching off into a couple more characters. A few things stayed with each new iteration, like the hood, gourd, and scarf.

Upcoming drop will include vinyls of the updated OG colorway and Arctic Hare colorway along with the pearl black and green/gold.
