“The performances [in ‘Us’] are uniformly fantastic, but I was most impressed by Wright and Nyong’o, both delivering distinct and completely unique work. Nyong’o gives a masterclass in acting in dual roles and is almost unrecognizable as her doppelgänger persona. Not only does she take on an entirely different voice, but her posture, movements and facial expressions are a different individual entirely. At times, I had to remind myself that this was the same woman; that’s just how good she is.”
— Yolanda Machado, writer for ‘TheWrap’

Art by Zdzisław Beksiński, a Polish Surrealist. Shockingly, Beksiński was murdered in 2005 by a young neighbour who wanted money. More of his fantastically creepy art can be viewed here.

Been a long time coming.
What she says: I'm fine
What she means: The way Jay died is perhaps one of the cruelest deaths I've ever seen for a main character. He was on the verge of insanity, shot by an old friend, and bled out alone in a room until the Operator found him and took him to the ark(?). He was scared and in pain and had no one to turn to. His final thoughts were perhaps a flashback throughout the last few years of his life--on the run and afraid. Having Tim around near the end was perhaps the best of it since he had the company of another who understood what he was going through. Then he pushed his one and only friend out of his life, even going to the point of trying to use violence. Jay's last moments were filled with fear, but regret was the strongest emotion he felt, and that sucks.
Sometimes, out in the middle of nowhere, where foliage can barely prosper and sentient life is at risk of death, when the weather conjures up unforgiving winds and the temperature drops to unfathomable lows, and when the clouds deny the passage of light to snowy grounds, an idea begins to form.
