Saurgust day 16, Bali myna. Rare case of a bird I've seen before, although in a zoo. Striking birds, very beautiful.

Saurgust day 15, Herrerasaurus ischigualastensis. Basically every depiction I could find of these guys has them scaled, but why not fluffy? I think they deserve a lil fluff.

Saurgust day 14, blue-crowned hanging parrot. No female version this time because slightly shifting the colors is a huge hassle for little return.

Saurgust day 13, Natovenator polydontus. Might've gotten too carried away with the wing markings and overcomplicated things for myself. Might've.

Saurgust day 12, Abyssinian ground hornbill.Ground hornbills are among my favorite birds, they're so incredibly cool.

Saurgust day 11, Triceratops horridus. The one, the only, the real classic.

Saurgust day 9, magnificent riflebird. They really are quite magnificent... when seen from the front. The back, not so much.

Saurgust day 8, Talarurus plicatospineus. My greatest enemy... ankylosaurs...

Saurgust day 7, burrowing owl. Or as we say in Dutch, a rabbit owl! Cute little guys.

Saurgust day 6, Mamenchisaurus sinocanadorum. That's a lot of neck.

Saurgust day 5, vogelkop owlet-nightjar. Very much improv'd the back markings because I had little time and couldn't find any good references. Probably should've made the stripes smaller, anyhow.

Saurgust day 4, Maiasaura peeblesorum.

Saurgust day 3, coppery-chested jacamar. Gotta love birds that throw in just the tiniest smidge of sexual dimorphism between the female and the male.

Saurgust day 2, Allosaurus jimmadseni. Was out all day yesterday so had to do a bit of catching up today.

Saurgust day 1, Congo peafowl.

Julaves day 31, stout-legged finch.
