Dublin

Believe it or not, I have never visited Dublin for all these years, all 29 of them. We only had 5 hours to explore, which isn't nearly enough! The strategy was to visit the creepy Oscar Wilde statue, roam around his house, run to Kennedy's for a pint of Guinness, tour the Little Museum of Dublin (hilarious, highly recommend going) and end the day at Temple Bar. Great success overall.

Quick stop in Shanghai on our way back from Japan. We got a free tour for tourists with a long layover. Apparenlty it's offered to encourage more tourism in China post-COVID, and honestly, it worked on me. I would love to go back and explore more!

Some fucked up movies I’ve seen this spooky season. Loved the practical special effects in all of them! The stories themselves were great too. A movie won’t be disturbing if it just has violence and gore for the sake of it, it’s the context in which that violence is presented that makes it and these movies delivered. Apart from the Guinea Pig movies, they were just silly entertaining gore.

I’ve enjoyed it! Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. Yes, the lip-syncing was not great towards the end which should have been fixed before the release. I’ll agree with that comment. Other than that, I didn’t find it doing a disservice to The Exorcist. Heretic was way worse.
