Heroes. Saviors. Champions and upholders of justice. All names the Digidestined have heard before, in reference to themselves. But what if they weren’t the heroes? What if they had become something else, had taken a trip to the opposite end of the spectrum?

Dark Digidestined Roleplay explores the fallen, takes the dark crevices in each hero’s soul and brings them to the forefront. Will you join the former champions of good now that they’ve journeyed down?

Because after all, even the light flirts with darkness.

Unfortunately we do not allow OCs. There are several reasons for this, but one of them is that this group explores what could happen if canon was altered in some way to change the nature of these existing characters. Original characters have no official canon to pull from, so it’s hard to say what was ‘altered’ from their ‘original canon’ to make them become ‘dark’ versions of themselves.

Of course, you are welcome to create dark AUs of your own characters, or simply have dark characters yourself--we don’t claim these concepts as our property. But they will not be affiliated with our group. If you want to interact with any of the members, you will have to read their individual rules to see if they allow such interactions, as while our group is an open one, some members have stricter rules of their own.

Hello everyone! We’ve set up a quick poll to gauge interest for future group events. Since we didn’t want to clog up the poll with event explanations, we are writing up brief descriptions of the events here. Ah, yes, the beautiful region of Digitalis! Home to both people and Pokemon aplenty, young trainers begin their journeys with the aid of Professor Hemlock. But trouble is brewing, as a group known only as Team Eclipse is growing in strength and numbers across the map. Their goal is currently unknown, their leader shrouded in mystery. Will anyone step forward to meet the challenge? Or will the region fall to darkness?

~Please send details of what you’d like your muse to be in our AU region to this blog’s ask box (here’s a link). By details, we mean their trainer class or gym leader/elite four type/number. You can also be a member of the evil organization! A post with this information will follow shortly, and be updated upon receiving each member’s requests.

~Tag all event-related posts with the tag #DD Pokemon AU so things are easier to keep track of. Please also follow the special event blog we’ve set up for this, Professor Hemlock!

~Submit your muse’s Pokemon team information to Professor Hemlock’s blog! Possible stuff to list here includes nicknames, genders, levels, moves, and natures. Having a sprite would be nice, too, but is not mandatory--only thing absolutely necessary is a team list. Get as detailed as you’d like! Once it’s been approved and posted, reblog it to your muse’s blog as well.
