The thing about musical theater people is that they seem to magically be familiar with every musical every produced and then they expect everyone else to be as well so they say things like “well I was Josiah in Emily’s Purple Phonograph of Dreams” and expect you to immediately get who and what that is and say something like “oh I’m sure the theater was transfixed during Downtown Moonshine”
