Danny had always been the odd one in any group he was in. It annoyed him at first, thinking something was wrong with himself. But then he got used to it. Sure, he wasn’t a werewolf or a ninja (Kira always got huffy when he called her a ninja) and no he wasn’t a math genius like the rest of his family. But he was a computer whiz and always was there when someone needed him. He knew it wasn’t as great as saving someone from being eaten, but it made him feel important. Even so, he always felt like he had to keep on top of this, always had to improve and impress everyone. And although it had been a few years since he found out most of his friends were supernatural creatures who would never get fat, he still felt the need to always work out so he wouldn’t fall behind.

Today was no different. While most of his classes required him sat behind a computer so none of his classmates joined him, he still found himself in the gym, ready to work out. He was glad his campus had a 24 hour gym attached to it and that it was so late at night no one was there. His body ached due to, what he figured, was because of his classes, but working out always helped.

I passed all the necessary tests, Daniel.

You can barely walk without tripping over yourself. I’ll believe when I see it.
