Vó Leda, the kindest, and most loving human I've ever met. No words can describe how much I love my grandma. She is a very bright star and the most beautiful soul. Every summer, during my childhood, my grandma would host my family, and my cousins at her house in Rio and we would spend the whole summer together. Those are some of the best memories of my life and I'm beyond grateful. It was because of her that my family has grown so close together. Because of her, I developed such deep connection with every single one of my cousins, aunts and uncles. She created the environment that allowed for my family to grow closer every year. She has the biggest and purest heart and she is truly an angel. Some people would never know I used to smoke up to half a pack of cigarettes a day.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣ 2 years ago today I quit smoking and picked up running. I tried many times to quit in the past with no luck. Then someone told me to find something healthy to replace smoking with - so I did. I ended up losing 35lbs, my blood pressure came down to a healthy level, I stopped snoring in my sleep (my wife is so grateful for this) and I was more focused at the office because of eliminating smoke breaks.⁣⁣⁣ ⁣⁣⁣ I have such a deep connection with running because of all it has given me, this is why I'm so passionate about it.
