Iād like to know more about Sakuraās father, and maybe some more about Sakuraās childhood and what it was for Mr. Ogami to raise a child all on his own.

Yippee! I get to yap about Gon!
So I did some research before making him and all Sakura has said about her father is that he owns a dojo and that she beat him in sparring at age 14.
She grew up seemingly level headed and disciplined so Iām like okay her dad was probably a good one. No mother was mentioned so she either died or left the family. I went with left personally.
Being the only girl in her generation in her family gave her a reason to prove herself as fighter a lot more.
As for Gonās personality, I thought up of his character at age 16. I thought itād be fun if Sakura is this ultra stoic and quiet girl that her father in return is like almost the opposite of her.
Heās more relaxed in everyday life. He leaves discipline and strictness to training situations and health matters.
Heās extremely loyal, does not like fighting outside of matches so heās very gentle, very affectionate towards his friends and family, still use to slow and simple life though.
As a parent, Iād say heās very proud of his kid and absolutely adores her. Heāll tell anyone who will listen about how much he loves Sakura. I believe Sakura came out even tempered on her own but along with good parenting of Gon, sheās how she is today.
Their relationship is great. They bonded through training, talks at dinner, and other activities. He tries not to go easy on her when she showed how capable of fighter she was and heās proud of her first victory against him.
Thatās the gist of Gon! Good guy, good father.
Now my other parents from trigger happy havoc-
Excluding the canon parents like Hiroko, Takaaki, Taichi, Jin, and Makotoās parents etc.
The exception though is Kijo Togami-
So Kijo doesnāt have a canon personality since in the books, the shit is fabricated. I took bits and pieces that I liked.
Kijo is āI hate my son because heās just like meā final boss. Best thing heās done is give Byakuya his butler so he can have somewhat of a healthy relationship with someone. Though he was probably hardest on him when he won that heir competition.
Bad father, very bad. But Iām a whore for a redemption arc.
So I made this ship because I thought āyummy opposites attractā and Sakura and Byakuya donāt fuck with each other so itād be hilarious if their dads smashed.
Then I put feeling into it and I felt like Gon is super patient. More patient than a man should be. Kijo never got patience growing up so Gon can probably help heal something.
My story for them meeting was like a parents day event at Hopeās peak. Parents come and they have fun with their children. Byakuya is not thrilled and actively tries to ditch him as much as possible. Kijo knows what heās doing and honestly he doesnāt blame him. Being around actually parents put him in an uncomfortable position and makes him yknow think about how heās been in the past.
So he doesnāt follow him anymore and he runs into Gon, almost dies via impact lmao. Gon helps him up and introduces himself. Kijo is standoffish, he doesnāt really care. Gon sees that and doesnāt stop being nice to him. Weirds Kijo out.
Day ends, Kijo leaves without saying by to Byakuya. Heās in the parking lot and spots Gon and Sakura being wholesome. Hugs and promises to call. A teen happy with their father. Kijoās feet moves on their own and he asks him how did you do that? Get your kid to like you?
They kept in contact after that conversation and it turned into a relationship. (Kept from Byakuya)
