ââŚcrazy?â she finished his sentence considering it sounded like thatâs what he was thinking. âgossip travels fast.â sure, some hunters have never spoken to others in a distance that was further than their own country, but there were some that did. some had contacts across the globe. hence, little bits of information spreading like wildfire. it wasnât hard. pick up a phone or chat in a forum. it was easy. she couldnât stop thinking or more imagining what he had told her, she would have been happier not knowing how he died. not because it was him, but because it was a horrible way to go. she couldnât even begin to think about the scars he probably heldâ- did he see the hounds every night he slept? she could only guess he did, purely because of what she saw herself. hers were different, she never got hurt, she just did the hurting. ada, however, knew there was more to it all, she wasnât stupid and she wasnât going to ask. she knew she had already asked enough, questioning him on the obvious? the deal he clearly must have made, she wouldnât do it. thereâs a suppressed chuckle, no he didnât say it, but it was clear. in her eyes he was lucky, more so because she didnât have anyone. so no, perhaps he didnât like how she saw him, but he was. a small smirk tugged on her features, a little roll of her eyes as she leaned herself more into him. looking up to him thereâs a smile before she gets comfortable. respects have been paid. she scoffed, letting out an amused chuckle she closes her eyes. âyou are.. something.â
âyeah. really. i donât know anyone there.â unless it was hunters heâd met elsewhere who moved. there was always the option that john had connections he didnât know about. dean may have lived in the guys pocket, but he was still secretive, even on his dying day. it was almost adorable actually, that his brain couldnât even comprehend the idea that people there knew him because the Winchesters were quickly becoming a household name, he really didnât think they were important enough to be spoken about. with his fingertips tracing her hip, he shuffled down a little, turned his face towards hers and pressed a light kiss to the left side of her head, into her hair. it was actually rarer than not, that he would still be here. granted, this was his motel, but that wasnât the point. most his one-nighters didnât end in cuddling ( though actually, give him the right sort of personality and yeah, he loves to cuddle. queue one of the few kinds of comfort he ever receives. ) he was silently pleased she hadnât got up to leave ( he would have stopped her if she tried, ) because he flt comfortable. he knew that was mostly because of their past, their hunter life, it put them on the same page. âsomething,â he repeated, chuckling low in his throat. âi can live with that.â he added. âdo i have to die again to get the same treatment though?â he made a little move so he could actually catch her eyes with his, showcasing the twinkle of pure amusement. âbecause you know, i absolutely would.â he was teasing ( obviously did not wanna die again ), but the compliment was obvious.Â

he was refusing and somehow that was heroic? huh? no. it was far from it. in fact? that defeat she saw? thatâs what it was. a man seeing no way outâ- a hunter wanting to save the colourful character of a male within her invisible grip. perhaps if she had muted him earlier? so his reveal of sweet marie and alex wouldnât have been heard. guilt. guilt. guilt. that was what he was made of, right? forty years down under was enough to change a soul forever. what would his peers think? the hunters flocking to help aid something he started? would they turn their backs on him knowing the kind of man he was? a monster just like they hunted. at least his dad never caved. that was something. something he didnât have in common. yikes. her eyes drop to the knife in front of her, she wanted to laugh but she didnât. the moment was serious, she needed to stick to that. even despite her eyes telling a completely new story. one of humour; one that held amusement, on that said, ha youâre right where i want you. âkinky.â he liked it on top, she liked it rough.. match made in heaven⌠wrong. âthey can leave.â her toneâs almost a whisper. as if a secret she shouldnât spill. âbut they havenât.â her facial expressions? oops. they wouldnât leave, not even under false pretences and would she let them? no. lilith could accept his offer to please, but truly? dean was nothing to her, the extras? the other humans? they were fated somewhere, somehow, to die right here, right now. she wasnât going to prevent that. a twist of fate, a rip through time? oh wouldnât the reapers go scatty. the hunter wouldnât understand. save. save. save. comically brilliant, yet a harrowing disaster.  âif i killed you again..â as tempting as it was.. âyour brother might not be ready.â a hint, a small smug and in your face hint. one he wouldnât understand until she was dead. it was beautiful. with barely any movement from her? the guy? he was free. the actions of surprise as he forced his body away from the bar? caused an adrenaline rush and he ran. run rabbit run. boy he did. the door? she let him leave. âdeath wonât be happy.â it might not have meant a lot, but it was a humorous concept for her. where lilith stood behind the bar? she vanished. seconds later? she appeared beside dean. sure she could walk, but where was the fun with simple human motions? âone life, for yours.â wasnât his deal but it was hersâ- or what she was making him believe. her palm came up, instantly? the knife he had placed down shot to it, her grip now circling the blade. oh, wasnât it foolish to put down the only weapon she had freely allowed. âwant me to slice that angel stench out of you?â she asks playfully, stepping closer to the hunter, wanting him to feel like the only choice heâd have to get her out of his face was resorting to violence. âeasy, hard. both? iâll let you think itâs all for you, if you want?â considering he confessed how much he loved being on top.
âand if they try, what then?â she wasnât wrong, fear was a powerful emotion. but right now, was it the smarter move? if they tried to run out the door, she could snap them like twigs and it seemed like they knew it now, too. it was funny how everything was starting to revert back to sam. heâd been told sam was the one to kill lilith, which would be fine if it wasnât a case of âhowâ. demon blood? no, not worth it, not even to kill her. or was it? âready?â a furrowed brow, he clearly didnât understand. forever missing the final piece to the puzzle. dean blinked wide, almost grabbed the guy and stopped him running - no way was he gonna make it out that door, right? wrong. his surprise was evident, at least one man got out, though it gave him little relief. âiâll buy them a bacon sandwich and theyâll get over it. the others leave too or no deal.â despite the quip, there was no amusement on his features - this was not an amusing situation. in-fact, it was probably one of the worst, heâd done this dance before, granted an already sealed deal loomed in the air, but the thought that he was, what? signing up to do it again? for the sake of a few people heâd never even met? what was it raphael said to him once? youâre just crazy enough to go, arenât you? apparently, he was right. âwouldnât be the first time.â his arms opened out a little, like he was saying, your move. the people in the background? he could see them trying to inch towards the door, though he didnât look directly at them, he didnât want to tip her off. âoh honey, youâre not that selfless.â
adaxjansenâ:
she was watching him curiously, making sure her own reactions werenât obvious. she could think what the fuck later. so what he had said earlier on? about the weight of the world literally balancing on his shoulders, there was some aspect of truth to it. not that she didnât believe him, she did, she was just only now seeing the full extent to it. twenty four hours ago, she would have refused to believe in what she had discovered, but now? her mind was really opening to what was going and shit, alarming red flags only becoming brighter. she wasnât thinking of running in the opposite direction, no, how could she? âsi.â she thought to confirm, more so in spanish, knowing that heâd like it. âthey do.â social media was only a growing thing but hunters talked, some people even feared them. she could see it, how little he thought of himself and it was sad. thereâs a frown, a brief close of her eyes when he yes. for the first time she didnât want to know how. death was death, either way it was horrible. thereâs a sympathetic smile, more so at his shitshow comment. she got the pain, the grief, and the guilt, but she couldnât truly level with him with everything else. it was unfathomable. she felt herself almost summoned into silence at what came next, a glaze washing over her eyes and the thought of what he just told her. she could guess and this time she wanted to be wrong. but what other invisible, vicious dogs where out there that wasnât a hellhound? she wanted to cup her own face, there was a need to physically show the shock but she didnât. heâd see it though, deep in her eyes. she kept silent, even for moments after he voiced his surprise that she was going to cross the pond for him. âyou donât think youâre worth it.â she broke the silence, she even gave his shoulder a gentle, yet playful, push. âyou are.â she smiles now, chuckling a little. her own attempt to mask how she felt, as well as trying to shake that vivid imagery of hellhounds from her mindâ or the picture she created of them, for she had never seen one. âiâm willing to bet you, dean winchester, have a line of people queuing up to show they care. stop thinking you donât. youâre lucky.â in that aspect, that wasnât overshadowing the, what did he say? shitshow everything had become.
âsi.â he curved his lips, trapping his tongue in his teeth as his eyes brightened just a little. did she know how to speak spanish? he thought to ask, but maybe later. âthatâs...â he didnât finish, but his face twisted and showed the confusion. how the heck did people know him in madrid? or more importantly, what did they know? why did anyone care enough to make him a topic of conversation? in truth, he half regretted the confession as soon as it left his lips, especially when the silence lingered. dean purposely kept his eyes away from her. was she going to ask? he hadnât really got that far on the question board to think that one could be next, the did you make a deal? there was almost a sense of relief there when she pushed him. âhey,â he scolded playfully back at her. âdidnât say that.â though apparently, he didnât have to. was it that obvious? ânot so sure about a whole line, maybe just a small cluster.â he chuckled. of course he knew, sam, bobby, jodie, theyâd all help him, that was never a question -- the question was did he deserve their help? âlucky.â he repeated, like he was testing the word out on his tongue. he didnât like the taste. âright now? sure, iâm very lucky.â ah, deflection, there you are old friend. tugging on the sheets, he shuffled closer to her, snaked an arm around her back where he rested his hand her side. settling into her, he traced soft tickles with the tips of his fingers and glanced down.âthank you.â for caring, for saying she wanted to come and say goodbye. he let that linger for a couple seconds so she knew he meant it, before adding â... respects have been paid.â dean smirked, giving her a quick wiggle of his brows.Â
nocturnxmâ:
so the human wasnât as dumb as he looked. but still, he wasnât seeing the full picture. âi donât want any of this.â he really didnât. regardless of how things transpired, lucifer was still his little brother and michael still loved him. but just as god told him to cast his brother down to earth and into hellâs cage, he would fight lucifer as god asks. it was rather unfortunate that his love for his brother was outshined by michaelâs obedience to his father. âno more than you would want to kill sam. but i am going to kill lucifer,â and he was going to use dean to do so. âi have to do this.â one way or another; there was no way to stop michael from his path.Â
âyouâre not exactly jumping to stop it either.â from his point of view, anyway. he hadnât really seen any of them doing anything remotely helpful, which, he supposed now that made sense. didnât matter which way you looked at it, the angels wanted lucifer out. âyouâre willing to put the whole of humanity at risk over a pissing contest. what if he beats you?â dean didnât see why that wasnât an option. âand as for gettinâ this ass? you can sing for it. life as an angel condom? no thanks.âÂ

Death watched as dean slept, soundlessly before they moved on to the table where they brought breakfast, mostly for themselves but sure if dean wanted some he could eat some. Pancakes and french toast along with bacon, eggs, and smoked sausage can be scented in the air. Getting a cup for herself, death noticed dean come from his slumber. â You know you tend to snore a bit. âÂ
It was almost like a sense at this point, even in his sleep his mind was active. It was probably a rustle of a bag, a creek in the floor or even the smell of food that lifted him from his slumber. So it took a second, maybe three, but that first flutter of his eyes clocked the figure and made him instantly reach for the gun under his pillow. Talk about a rude awakening, he jumped up, aimed, only to find he recognised the figure. âWhat the hell.â A pause before he lowered the weapon, it wouldnât do any good on them anyway. âPeople knock, you know. Itâs polite.â Dean took a glance down, to his horror finding he was stood there naked, he whipped the sheets around him like a frigid woman and sat on the bed. âThis is not ok.â He grumbled. How could this be his life? Waking up to find death a few feet across from him. With a rub of his eyes, he looked their way and sniffed up. â... Is that bacon?âÂ
adaxjansenâ:
she was waiting for at least a little white lie even despite asking for an honest answer, more so because she felt a sense of familiarity in herself and how she had been to others after her family had died. a joke, a smile, a small diversion and she didnât have to really talk about it. she felt strong enough to avoid it all rather than cope, all reasons being because of her little sister. the only memory that remained vivid was watching her die by her hands. it wasnât something she had told anyone, the guilt? it swallowed her whole. both of her brows rose for a moment, processing that those scars were an angels doing. âouch.â she wondered why and even how but she didnât want to push the comfort he was creating away from him, she could see it in his smirk and a curve of a smile came from her. so she thought to ease into her next one, she cared for him because of the connection they had, he had helped her when she was past her lowest point and she never forgot it. âi was gonna come here, a little while before now, actually, because of something i heard.â not all rumours turned her head, but this one had. âpay my respects.â she wasnât directly telling him she knew because even then there was uncertainty. âyouâve got quite the little following in madrid.â it was where she had been at the time, she could never really stay in her home country for long. âi heard it there, that you had died and i thought,â thereâs the faintest shake of her head, âno, donât believe it.â she lightly chuckles, she always thought heâd be around forever, more so because of the reputation that only grew. her delay coming here was because it later ( several months ) came out that he hadnât. âbut you did, didnât you?â she begins to wonder if his connections to angels was because of that. âand i figure thatâs where the angels come into play?â he could tell her no to both, he could tell her whatever he wanted and she wouldnât question it.
âyeah.â he hummed a chuckle. he didnât actually remember the initial contact, no memory of castiel lifting him from hell, only that he climbed out his grave and a while later, rolled up his shirt to see the burns on his shoulders. his curiosity peaked when she started speaking, there as a dip in his gaze when she said about paying respects. so she knew. âmadrid?â dean lifted a brow, actually looking back up towards her. âpeople know me in madrid?â the thought literally bewildered him, he still had no idea how infamous the winchester name had become. as far as he knew, they were just the same as the other hunters, they all did the same job and suffered the same pain, he would never consider himself better by any sense of the word. especially not now, knowing he started this whole thing? it was a crippling burden to carry on his back. âyes.â he simply confirmed, seeing no point in denying it. when she mentioned the angels, he smiled softly, âtold ya. smart.â she didnât need anyone to help her fit the pieces. âan angel brought me back and everything since then has just been a shitshow.â he didnât trust them, not any of them. castiel was debatable, but even he was holding out on him now, he could sense it. âbig, vicious, invisible dogs,â he added with a light hum. he was answering her question before she asked, before he could chicken out and crawl back into his shell. he figured by the description, she would know he meant hellhounds ( literally canât even bring himself to say the word. ) he wasnât even trying to shift the topic, but he was curious ... âyou wanted to come here for me?â like the idea was confusing. that devastating self hatrid that wouldnât really allow him to believe anyone actually cared enough.Â

nocturnxmâ:
michael wasnât meant to be in this position, spelling out for dean what his destiny entailed. he had sent zachariah to explain it to the winchesters but it seemed the angel had failed to do so. âdean, you are my sword.â there it was, the bomb drop. now the fate of the winchesters has been aired out. âdidnât you wonder why we pulled you out of hell? why you were the first seal?â a righteous man sheds blood in hell, and only a righteous man could be michaelâs true vessel.
â... iâm your what?â okay, queue the dumb bitch in him, he wanted whatever michael was saying? s p e l l i n g out for him. maybe this was no big deal to the angel, but to dean? his entire thought pattern was in free fall. sam, lucifer, vessels, swords... of course, the eldest winchester knew. in his gut he understood the words perfectly, but he needed a damn minute to process it. he and sam, the true vessels for none other than the michael and lucifer? that was way above his paygrade. âno,â he lifted a brow. âi-- i was the first seal because--â he didnât feel the need to finish, figured the angel knew exactly why. dean was told the first seal broke because he did, because a righteous man chose to shed blood in hell. he took a moment, let it breathe before he felt like everything heâd been paranoid about? was being confirmed. heâd been lied to, told he could stop this from happening, yet, here michael was... âyou donât want to stop lucifier being freed, do you?â why else would he be here telling dean all this? he needed him, to say y e s when it came to blows. âall of you, you want this to happen, you want the last seal to break?â it was a question as much as it was a statement, and it was paired with a scoff of judgement, a look that simply said âi fucking knew it.â
*call*
sam: "when? why are you only telling me this now?" sam could have been more prepared if he'd known lilith was already in town.
dean: "last night." he grunted. honestly? he didn't say anything for his own reasons along with the reason that he didn't want sam to get hunt hungry. "she did a number on a few people, i've been trying to keep things quiet." so the locals didn't freak, that was. "we needa smoke this bitch, sammy." there it was. the anger, the fuel for the fire, he lilith had to GO.

( t.s )
thereâs a relaxed sigh as sheâs looking at him, studying his features she enjoys the small moment of silence, one that was inevitably going to be broken by her for there were many words on the tip of her tongue, but they all seemed to circle back to one thought in particular. âyouâve got a good set on hands on you.â her tone was soft, even a smile curved faintly at the two meanings he could take from that. both correct. her eyes dipped to the scarring she saw, showing him what she meant with a brief motion before she looked back towards him. âwhereâd you get them?â she was prompting him, he seemed to be good at avoiding or diverting from what she had gathered at the beginning of the night and her concern? it was there. she hadnât seen anything like it beforeâ- but she was starting to realise it seemed a theme, the rumours she had heard tossed around by other hunters? as well as deanâs own subtle comments? made her wonder if she was gazing at someone who shouldnât be here.
he gave a subdued exhale, soft eyes that faded the crinkles in the creases, to look at him now, you probably wouldnât see a fraction of the horror those green eyes had seen. so youâd ask him why he drinks the way he does or why he finds comfort in being intimate, he wouldnât tell you, but heâd know it was because they helped him breathe. his breath always felt caged, his muscles always tense, paranoid and waiting for something to come around the corner and attack. but now? he could relax, forget about all that crap for a moment or two -- he needed it just to keep a semi level head. âthat right?â a chuckle sounded in the air as he turned on his side to face her. she didnât need to look at his shoulder, he already figured what she meant. though her question? it created a pause, not an uncomfortable one, just a pause where he considered his answer. âiâd usually lie round about now.â meaning, give her some dumb story, tell her it was just something from a hunt that went south, but instead? a lazy smile crosses his lips. âi got touched by an angel. first time stings a little.â a wider smirk. well, donât let it be said that he hadnât answered her question... naturally, he just had to make a joke of it to make himself comfortable with the thought of her next questions. typically heâd already bailed at this point but he didnât need to with her, or at least he felt like he didnât, her being a hunter too, she already knew the brutality of it.Â
thepoisonedivyâ:
âI sure think so.â She chuckled. âYou say that like youâre not impressed by it.â Ivy teased back. âEw, kids, no. Iâm what people would describe as ânot a single maternal bone in my bodyâ type of person.â This was a definite over exaggeration but it was mostly because she was never really around kids and her habits would push her far away from that. âYouâre definitely a pro in that department, huh?â Ivy knew things existed but she didnât know the full extent. At the same time, if there was something new, it wouldnât surprise her in the slightest.
âNot one? Cold.â He was only teasing, no judgement here. People? As long as they werenât evil, people could worship a smurf for all he cared ( though that would be weird for sure. ) â... Sure. Something like that.â Not an exact yes, but also not a denial. It was what it was. Hunter life? It was all he knew, so naturally, he was well versed with knowledge of creatures, usually the bad kind. âIâm a pro in this one too though...â He referred to alcohol as he lifted up his shot, tipping it back and letting it slide down his throat. He enjoyed the burn, if he was honest, along with the obvious blur that happened when he drank enough of it.Â
whiteeyedxâ:
evil was a compliment. considering she hadnât done much yetâ- on the scale of things. what was two dead bodies and a guy with a few little cuts? sure, we could talk about the other two humans currently hiding in the bar, considering she had sealed the door shut. spoiler? it wasnât locked. they could leave.. no one was trying. the human brain was complex and scared. what if we run to the door? what if we try to open? what if it opens but we die anyway? no one had that kick in them to do something. not even the hunterâ- a man toying with the idea of doing as she wanted. she could see it, it was written all over his face. that defeat? anger. guilt. she could see it all. it was a comical ( her view ) horror show and dean winchester was the lead. as heâs glaring at her? she stares back. thereâs silence between the two. the guy she had cut, he hadnât moved. the poor human too frightened to blink just in case he gets hurt. though if he did try she wouldnât let him. perhaps there was an intelligent method to their current deer in headlights. not that she agreed, a slow death over quick and painless? huh. lilith still doesnât utter and word, she hasnât blinked, sheâs holding the hunters eye contact. her free hand reaching for one of the cut strawberries below, clearly having been made for one of the glasses of gin beside it. popping it in her mouth, she chews. sheâs waiting for him to break before she makes him. it was fun to guess his next move. would he stay silent? would he do what she asked? or would he ask her if she was done? there were multiple ways this could go. her helping hand to aid the way she wanted this to go? she forces the strangerâs face down, slamming the side of it into the wooden top of the barâ a fresh canvas for him. âput him out of his misery.â the male? his eyes widen as he realises what she means, heâs trying to lift himself up from the invisible force holding him down. i have children. heâs pleading again. please d-donât. theyâre all i got. the poor guyâs even weeping. hands trying to reach for the bartop in attempt to unsuccessfully push himself up. marie and alex. theyâre onlyâ lilith silences the man, heâs now trying to speak but he canât. it was always more fun when a target appeared more human and not just a doll but he was boring her. moan moan moan. thereâs a gleeful look in her hues, one would almost think they could see the physical look of manipulation.Â
there was a hot buzz under his skin as it heated with every passing moment. being in this situation just felt so, so wrong. every fibre of his body was crying to lash out, take her down, hurt her in any way -- he cursed his own sanity for knowing he couldnât. the knowledge was tearing him up, he knew it, she knew it. âwhat?â not an actual question, he just had to voice something to confirm his own what the fuck moment. dean tried not to react much when she pinned the guy down, but there was a lingering feeling like the air was just being sucked out of the room. his eyes fluttered shut and his head turned away as the guy started pleading, talking about his kids. great, add guilt, add that crippling thought that he was probably seconds from death any which way dean chose to play it. still with the knife in his grip, there was a few seconds, a twist of disgust on his face as he watched her, so unphased, enjoying this. of course it wasnât a surprise, she was evil, after all. âno.â he breathed, finally, swallowing back the slight lump in his throat. he knew exactly what kind of consequences his words held. he couldnât even look at the guy who was still struggling against her power even though he was silenced. âi wonât do it.â and with that, he placed the knife back down on the bar. he felt like he knew the outcome to this. this poor bastard next to him was gonna die, either way, at least it would be at her hand and not his own. it almost seemed selfish, but he physically couldnât do it. âyou wanna hurt someone?â opening out his arms, he flashed her a nonchalant smirk. one that was amused on the lips but cold in the eyes. âiâm right here. iâm willinâ to bet you donât get many chances to strike the same guy twice.â and yeah, he was just crazy enough to let her do whatever, but his price? âthese people? they leave. in one piece and alive... and then you get me any way you want me, though i work better on top.â a sarcastic quip. whatever happened from here? you bet your ass heâd go down swinginâ, lame jokes and all.Â

sam: âno.â sam sighed down the handset. âi donât think she wanted to. she was looking to try and drive me mad, probably to distract me from whatâs going on.â
dean: "what is going on?" he scoffed, emphasis on the word /is/. "we need to talk." he was reluctant to admit it, but he did, only because of the things they were all facing. "she paid me a visit too."

so he could count, round of applause. a simple math lesson wasnât what she was after.. of course she knew he wanted to be the saviour, save all and leave with barely any casualties. like that was going to happen. her aim here was to show him she could do what she wanted, whenever she wanted. she wasnât really bothered if he left today thinking his brother still needed to be stopped with his consumption of demon bloodâ- because lilith had dealt with him, lovable sammy was going to go to the ends of the earth to kill the bitch that killed his brother. it was the only plausible way. she needed to be stopped and only he could do it.. blah blah blah. that was how the tune went, right? âyou call this fun?â thereâs a quirk in her brow, before they knit together. a brief mark of confusion on her hostâs features. âno.. no.. no.â sheâs shaking her head and with a small flick of her index? a sliced cut appears on the human beside dean. one across his cheek. another flick; a new cut appears across his throat. and another; causing another slice on his neck. the maleâs shaking, his hands trembling as heâs reaching for his fresh wounds. heâs asking for answers, heâs asking to leave. heâs pleading.  poor man doesnât understand. ânot going to join in, no?â thereâs a look of disappointment now, the knife she had placed before him? telekinesis allowed her to force it into deanâs bicep, the blade didnât pierce hard, just hard enough to cut through his layers of clothing and draw blood. âtake it. donât be rude.â Â
âno, i call this evil, just stop.â he wasnât so much begging as he was half pleading, half twisting his face up. it would come as no surprise, he was sure, he killed things like her. things like her killed people like him ( actually, she technically did if you really wanna throw stones. ) his eyes flipped between the guy and lilith, once he started flailing, dean placed his hands on his shoulders in an attempt to... what? calm him down? all this poor bastard knew was that heâd been dragged in here and was getting cut. it was only when he felt a sharp sting did he let go, bringing his hand up over where the blade stuck in his skin. he didnât want to show her it hurt but he was only human, a bitter hiss escaped his lips. he didnât really have a choice but to take a hold of it, removing it from his skin. he could have put it down, but he only tightened his grip on the handle and stared at it. as much as he twitched to throw it between her eyes, he was mentally calculating scenarios. 1) he did that, everyone here died. 2) he put it down, everyone here died. 3) ... he did what she asked and maybe, just maybe, some people donât die. it was clear in his face he wasnât only considering it, he was remembering those last ten years in hell, tugging on his emotions and leaving a bitter taste in his mouth. she was getting the exact reaction she wanted from him. green eyes lifted back up to hers, silent, hardened. he wasnât saying yes, but he wasnât saying no, either. he wanted to know what her next move was and so he waited.
