for the record I was not exactly rooting for francesca hong in the first place, but it has been VERY interesting to see how quickly certain people on the left came together to condemn an Asian female candidate for criticizing a beloved American holiday vs. the amount of time and sheer number of scandals it took for many of the same people to disavow a white male candidate with a Nazi tattoo and an absolutely rancid digital footprint.
